Rachana Hostel

Great reception and warm hospitality. No lifts, only (super uneven) steps. You need to carry up extra supplies on your own from the first floor if you need extras. Rooms are not cleaned unless requested. It helps to have the balcony if you're not travelling alone. Overall, if you're a minimalist, you'd be content. (:

This was my second time at Rachana, and I'd definitely come back. Big beds, clean rooms, excellent Wi-Fi and air-con, and the price is excellent for Phnom Penh. I don't think you'd find better value in the area. Also, Simas and Sofina at the front desk are always smiling and willing to help! Highly recommend.

I stayed at Rachana for 7 nights and enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, but a big comfortable bed, hot shower, good WiFi, TV, air-con and rooftop bar were all nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the surrounding area is full of restaurants and bars. Many historical sites just a short walk away. For the price, I'd definitely stay here again!

Das Hotel ist soweit sauber und gepflegt. Der Nachteil ist die laute Strasse in der Front des Hotels. Diese ist die ganze Nacht über sehr laut und im Zimmer sehr gut zu hören. Aber das Hotel ist günstig. Das Hotel hat zum Glück eine Coole Rooftop Bar welche gute drinks hat.

Удобно расположенный отель, в пешей доступности от основных достопримечательностей. Достаточно большой чистый номер, горячая вода есть. Хороший позитивный персонал. Можно заказать экскурсию в достопримечательности (брал на растрельные поля) и билеты на международный автобус (ехал спипербасомв СиемРеп). На поездки забирают прямо из отеля.

I enjoy the time in Rachana hostel. Staff are really friendly. The room is clean. Very nicw hostel.

Noisy bar on top of our room means no sleep before 2 am

Belle terrasse sur le toit. Chambre très propre et grande, telle que décrite lors de la réservation. Personnel charmant. Bien situé, près des principaux attraits et pleins de restaurants dans les rues avoisinantes. Par contre, odeur de moisissure dans la salle de bain et eau pas très chaude.

We stayed here for 2 nights and each night there were kids screaming up and down the stairs. We were woken up around 5am by a wedding that took place in the street. There was yelling and music blasting through a megaphone, it was so loud even my ear plugs couldn’t drown it out. It’s modern and updated so I will give it that but the walls are paper thin. I was just ready to leave before it was time to check out. We would have rather sat at the airport for hours than listen to the amount of loud noise. And I’m not a picky person! There are a ton of better places to stay in Phnom, I probably won’t stay here again.

The room is great but the neighbourhood is busy and noisy so be prepared. The two girls who work on reception are amazing!

Kleines, einfaches, aber sauberes Hotel mit freundlicher Bedienung. Geeignet für 1 bis 2 günstigen Übernachtungen.

Terrible, no customer service at all. Had to wait hours to check in, most steep stairs i have ever witnessed

Very good family room

Our stay here was good considering the cheap price - the staff were very friendly, it was in a good central location and the room was spacious and clean. The room was very noisy at night as it is located on a busy intersection and the bed was very hard in some places.

Muy ruidoso. Habitacion sin ducha ( con un telefonillo ) sin jabon, pequeña, no hace justicia a las fotos que ponen en internet. Tsmpoco habia nevera en la habitacion ( necesario con el calor)

가격이 저렴한만큼 값어치를 합니다. 다음에 기회가 생긴다면 비용을 더 투자해서 좋은곳에서 묵을 것 같습니다. 배수관이 터져서 하수관으로 부터 먼지덩어리 모양의 냄새나는 찌꺼기가 넘쳤는데 불쾌했습니다.

L'ostello è in un'ottima posizione per visitare le principali attrazioni della città alcune distanti solo 5 minuti a piedi. Si presenta in modo molto carino con un rooftop proprio grazioso con un piccolo bar che, al momento, serve solo drink e poca scelta di cibo solo per la sera (a colazione e pranzo era sempre chiuso). Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Possibilità di un free transport per l'aeroporto. Le camere erano carine e pulite ma con un forte odore di umido. La mancanza dell'aria condizionata e la presenza solo di un ventilatore (tra l'altro rotto perché non girava più :( ) non hanno fatto in modo di poter risolvere almeno in parte questo problema. Purtroppo tramite Expedia avevamo anche prenotato una stanza che, in teoria, doveva avere colazione inclusa e welcome drink. Purtroppo tutto questo non era previsto e quando lo abbiamo fatto notare ci è stato detto che ci avrebbero rimborsato 5$ al giorno per la colazione ma, purtroppo, non li abbiamo mai visti! Questo aspetto mi ha fatto abbassare ovviamente tutti i giudizi in merito all'ostello che comunque ha un grosso potenziale ma c'è ancora un po' di strada da fare....

The hostel itself is very basic as far as amenities go, however we did appreciate the early check-in they gave us, for no extra charge. We arrived around 6AM in Phnom Penh and were beat, having traveled via bus from Siem Reap, so it was great that they had the room ready and allowed us to go and rest. The location is definitely one of the main bonuses of this hostel, with most places of interest within a walking distance, and a variety of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. The room itself was quite basic, with a bit of an industrial (unfinished?) feel to the decor, but there was free wifi, the aircon was working, the sheets were clean, and the bathroom had hot water, so it ticked the main boxes for my partner and I.

Ok værelse. God størrelse, lille bad. Super beliggenhed lige i restaurant gaden.
