clean room, property condition & facilities Beautiful place, super easy to get to from the highway. Clean, quiet room — loved the self check-in!

Beds were hard. Had to take off shoes, cold floor. However, clean room and bathroom. Stayed out of main building. Never saw a soul.

I didn’t like that they didn’t have someone there to check you in even at 4pm it was still a self check in and there is no cell service to be able to check your emails

Wow! This is a very difficult review to give on a business. Great building, cute interior and lovely art and internal visuals located in an area that has little amenities. We knew that we had to self check-in. No problem. But the number of posted signs on what to do or not to do was staggering. Including a CCTV camera in the shared kitchen with a sign declaring that if you left food in the oven unattended at anytime, there would be a $1,000.00 fine. My husband and I were at the property for approximately 2 to 3 hours (no sign of a welcome) before another guest arrived with a large dog. Mysteriously, a woman appeared from an office? suite? to greet the dog! I have never given a poor review, but my skin is bristling. We have travelled many provinces, territories, Europe and Australia and this is a first. Perhaps the owners and management should rethink the game plan or get out of the “hospitality” industry.

The beds are too low. There is no internet or cell phone coverage. Had to leave property, drive to the hospital for internet to find the email they sent me 3 days before for the code. Keep in mind there is little to no connections while traveling.

Overall the lodge is very nice. Room was clean, however some things were not included. There were no cups in the room, so if you wanted a drink in the middle of the night too bad. The night stand tables had large lamps on them so there was no room to put your phone to charge or any other items on the table. The coffee was down stairs in a communal area. The other guests across the hall were cooking in the communal area until 10 pm. The room doors allow you to hear all conversations in hall and even noise from their room. Beautiful property considering the area, but I would not stay again.

Property was very clean was a very big positive. Dislikes numerous notes on not what to do or will be surcharged. Also recieving a personal email after we left asking for a review was not typical which we didn’t feel comfortable leaving. Some dislikes were Very limited supplies in unit, basically no extra decor or furnishing not enough supplies such as no extra toilet paper except what was on roll. No Kleenex in room, only 2 bath towels for 3 registered guest,only one really small garbage container in washroom and no area to place recyclables or extra garbage or instructions as to where to take extra garbage so we took with us to avoid surcharge. Bedding and quality basic but very clean. Nobody to check in even though numerous units on site not just 2-3 as is normal than to have nobody on site. No information of what is available locally as far as restaurants or things to look at. No instructions for use of tv so therefore we could not figure out how to use even though 2 of us are very tech savvy. Small kitchen and kitchenette with table to be shared with 8 or 9 total units in a separate building and instructions indicating only one guess to use. So overall place was very clean as indicated in first paragraph, overall value for cost was the 2nd highest per night cost we paid over 13 nights and only $20 less for much smaller room compared to the most expensive nightly cost was new large log unit with balcony overlooking a lake in northern bc on Alaska highway. Limted kitchen area. What was available was dominated by single group. Downstairs common area had strong unpleasant odor, so unable to use that area.

Loved the uniqueness, clear instructions. Great morning coffee. Loved the decor , just didn't care for the long black hairs around the room. Otherwise it was enjoyable.

Room was very clean, lobby was beautiful. It’s a self check in building so you get the instructions ahead of time. Overall a nice motel for the remote location. The only downside for me is the bed was very firm. Made for a rough sleep, but I prefer a softer mattress. Otherwise I thought the property was very nice. We stayed in one of the motel 2 bed units, not in the main building.

It was so quiet and the room was very nice. The bed was comfortable too. I liked the fancy coffee machine for my morning hot of caffeine

Bed was 10” off the floor. That makes it difficult to stand if you’re old and have bad knees. Also the no shoes allowed inside the lodge was lame.
