Bugaboo Cottages

Overall stay was very good. Mr. Rob is very welcoming and nice host. Place was very clean and comfortable except some stains on the wash tub. I wil definitely recommend this place to stay if you visit PEI.

Cute place, unfortunately the frying pans were rusting and the bathroom sink leaked.

Great old style cottage. Great friendly hosts.

Very neat. Pleasant people. Quaint cottage. Stairs to the one bathroom. Maybe a challenge to people with knee issues.

Booked a cottage for 9 days...disappointed with the condition of the cabin...peeling wallpaper esp in bathroom...disappointed with overall cleanliness...discovered bug infestation and asked for a refund of the balance paid which was refused...were advised by owner Cheryl Campbell to try the Hilton...very poor value here...

Bugaboo Cottages is very quaint and cute. There was plenty of space for my family to spread out. The only disadvantage I see is that the cottages are located on a fairly busy highway. Great experience overall.

The evening campfire was very welcoming. Nice time to meet the other guests and the owners.

We wanted the quaint Hobby farm experience with a cute little cottage.

Unique place to stay with lots of character. Really enjoyed it.

Lovely stay. Welcoming host. Outside is a bit weathered looking but inside cozy, clean and warm.

Comfortable cottage centrally located on the island. Needs new towels and the Wi-Fi didn't work. It also seemed odd to read posted rules about separating and taking out your own trash and stripping the sheets off of the pull out couch before leaving. Because the trash cans were full and at the curb, we were unable to do it, but it still seemed strange to be asked to do it in the first place. Not horrible...just a little odd. Conveniently located about 10 minutes away from restaurants. Cute fireplace heater.

Very Impressive for there was no mosquitos and other insects for this type of cottage

We really liked the cottage we stayed in. It was out of town and quiet. We were close enough to town to still take advantage of amenities. It had a real "Farm Charm" as it is located on an small farm.

Firstly, I acknowledge that people have different expectations of what they value in a cottage. I do know that the bugaboo did not meet ours. It’s rather difficult to locate and not particularly well marked. Upon arrival, the first sign that there might be a problem was the smell of manure in the air. Then as we got closer to the cottage, seeing plastic flowers in the windowsill containers was kind of chintzy. Also there was a lack of privacy as the owners house was very close to our cottage. Then finding out there was a dog who had the run of the place made us realize that we had booked the wrong place. My wife is terrified of dogs and while the dog is very friendly she is, er, VERY friendly and is not shy to sniff and fawn you. The cottage itself was pleasant. Well laid out and comfy. However there were beetles on the couch, a lack of air-conditioning and the curtains only closed 1/3 the way in all rooms including the bedroom. We were told not to cook lobster in the cottage (and cooking lobster was a main reason to be in a cottage vs a hotel). The view off the back porch was of a chicken coop and a goat. I can’t recommend it as it certainly did not meet what we were looking for. Maybe others would enjoy. I’m probably guilty of not researching it enough so I’ll take the blame. Certainly not a place for non-dog fans

We really enjoyed our stay there. Especially the hot tub over looking the Canola field under the gazebo. If you like the country and love the country feel than you will love this place. God bless

Very cozy cottages with friendly hosts. Our daughter was even able to ride a horse and learn about their care there! It made a great "home base" while we explored the island!

First of all this place is a cottage, not a hotel. This is a family business who take pride in what they do. Think about being in the country enjoying the simple things in life. If you have any issues with your accomodations please talk to the owners, they will find a way to make things right. Just enjoy the experience!
