Canalta Humboldt

The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet paper holder kept falling apart but that was minor. There was glass drinking cups in the room which was nice instead of the paper cups. The lady working when we arrived was so kind and helpful as we were stranded in town due to poor weather. I appreciated her patience and concern. The hotel has board games and card games for guests to use which was also good. We weren’t able to use the pool as we had nothing with us. The man working in the morning though, should be fired or at least get a good lecture on how to treat people. He was rude and dismissive and just kind of an ass. I was friendly and walked up to the desk and said good morning, and waited as he stood directly in front of me looking down at something on the desk, he did not even acknowledge me or look up. I said good morning again, a little louder, but still friendly…..still nothing. My daughter was looking at me and rolling her eyes at the blatant disrespect of this man. So I said good morning AGAIN, a little louder, and the asshat finally looks up, doesn’t smile or return the greeting, and just says “hi” in such a belligerent manner! I had a few questions and he was just short with his answers and couldn’t be bothered to smile or ask how our stay was. I have zero patience for people like that who work in customer service positions!

It was great having a room with 3 beds so our family of 5 could stay together. The room was clean, staff was friendly, the kids loved the pool. Breakfast had a variety of options that the kids enjoyed.

Very clean, very friendly staff and the breakfast was great. The pool, slide and hot tub were clean and fun. Would definitely go again and highly recommend!

Yes and Yes! The only issue we had was the heating system, otherwise we would have given an 'EXCELLENT' rating!

Evening manager was incredibly rude to my wife and our kids, other than that the hotel is perfectly fine

The room was clean. The included breakfast is good. I used the gym and the pool. Extremely clean. I think the beds are not as comfortable as I would like. They could use an upgrade in that department. Good value.

The room was good but the beds are hard. I don't mind a firm bed but this one you gould feel the springs. The food was good and the staff was great.

Quick and easy check in, clean rooms. Breakfast was alright only negative thing would be the pool water was really cold

The tv did not work. It would turn on but no guide would appear. We were also told no housekeeping on Christmas Day. I think a reduction on price would be in order as we paid full price and the hotel did not have to pay staff. We were not offered a discount.

Room was nice, beds comfortable. Pool are looked nice. The breakfast was ok. There were hot options that I assume changes daily, toast and bagels, yogurt and a waffle maker.

From checkin to checkout the clean spacious room to comfy beds and great complimentary breakfast were great

Everything was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door until we checked out the staff were great. The hot tub was hot and the breakfast was good. No complaints.
