Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Summerside

The room was nice until you entered the bathroom. The tub and shower needs to be replaced. The vent for the bathroom doesn’t work and the tub was gross.

Arrived at the the motel at 1:30 and asked if we could check in. The clerk told us maybe in a hour. Bathtub was a thick yellow stain. It wasn’t washed properly in a long time. Wife opened the curtains of the tub and couldn’t believe her eyes and neither could I. Room was ok

Great central location in Summerside.

Looked clean, it has been renovated but done poorly when you looked around. Bathtub ran all night long, wouldnt turn off and tub/shower looked dirty/moldy. Tiles not attached to the floor, just sitting on top of old floor. Tiles missing from wall in bathroom

This place was truly awful. They are "renovating" the building beside the main one to have more units. I stayed in one of the outer units despite specifically requesting the main building. The first room was smoky and unclean. Dirty towels etc. I spoke to the desk person and he offered no apology just silently handed me another room key for a different room in the same building. The new room had a disgusting old.shower and tub. I was so tired at this point I just gave up. Do not stay here. Its terrible. Service is bad and they just dont care.

There were pigeons in our windows , there was mold in the windows , no rooms avail as sold Out , there was holes in the screen of window. The room smelled moldy and musty , blinds with scenic picture on it so you don’t see the ugly view.

The bait and switch when you pull in seeing the big nice hotel building and then being off-loaded to the separate building beside it, which felt like a barracks. Parking was limited, so much so that I got anxious worrying about not being able to park in a spot after exploring the island for the day. The "bed" was nothing more than a cot on a terrible metal frame. It lacked even the basic support I would expect from a dingy motel. The room was empty outside of the small inconveniently placed mini-fridge which somehow had the door on backwards. The chair provided in the room was an office chair that didn't feel safe to sit on. We had to dump all of our bags on the floor since there was no sideboard, chest of drawers, or other large similar furniture to place bags on. It felt very unwelcoming. The room we stayed in had a door safety problem where it wouldn't fully close unless you pulled with force on the door. The bathroom wall had a massive rust stain that was carelessly left there from goodness knows when. On the last night at around 9pm, maintenence staff decided to start working in the cavernous hall, doing some tiling work. The only positive experience had of this place was the staff at the front desk helping us get a second chair, and some laundry detergent & dryer sheets. I highly recommend people to stay as far away from this hotel as physically possible.

Vieux, mal entretenu, mais surtout extrêmement bruyant. Mûrs et fenêtres en carton. Nous pouvons entendre les conversations des voisins et des gens à l’extérieur jusqu’au petites heures du matin. Chambre semi-rénovée avec carreaux de salle de bain encrustrés de saleté et plafonds remplis de cernes d’eau. J’invite les gestionnaires de la chaîne à venir faire un tour pour constater l’état de l’hôtel.

We did our first road trip in our 12 years of marriage and I booked this as our anniversary ‘safe place’ amongst our other ‘might not be so great’ places. I paid far more for this one night stay than any of the other places on our journey to ensure a positive anniversary night. To be honest we were afraid here. It was obvious that some work had been done to make the room workable. A new sink and tap were caulked onto a chip board stand with the pipes open underneath. The chip board did not cover the old flooring which was unfortunate as there were newer tiles on the rest of the floor. The tub was poorly painted and the shower nozzle was tricky but we did get an ok shower that drained. The floor was dirty so we left our shoes on while there. The bedding was clean. The fridge and microwave were run on a power brick on the desk. The bones of the building were obviously good. It was extremely windy but we heard nothing inside the room once the door was closed. The little breakfast area in the basement was what you would expect at a Days Inn but unfortunately the rest of the stay was not. The other places we stayed on our 8 day journey, including some for $80 a night were far superior.

This hotel is clearly old.

Poor quality hotel room. It was like a cheaper motel setting. I would expect better quality and cleanliness from Days Inn.

Parking a

This served our purpose and we only slept. Staff very friendly. Finding a place to park was a challenge. Breakfast adequate ….eggs could be better. Coffee good! Thank you!

I had a great stay here. My husband, kids and I spent the night while on a work trip. Check in was a breeze, and the gentleman at the desk was great. We couldn't find any parking and it was quite late - he walked outside with us to find a spot. I think that's my only negative comment - very limited parking.

Disappointed Wyndham puts their name on this property. This property needs a complete makeover.
