The room i stayed in had the best view of the water i have ever seen. I left the curtains open to enjoy every minute of it, even as i went to bed.
It was clean and comfortable. I wish it had a microwave, but not everyone is vegan like me.

My first stay at the Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging. The staff was great. The lodge does not have 24hr service like a hotel but Tofino is a place to be out and about. I was staying in room 106 facing the ocean which was outstanding during the day and at sunset. Looks like all the room face the ocean.

Not all the rooms face the ocean. Block 3 does but we we in block 2 which faces trees. So the descriptions in my opinion are a bit misleading . I think the "million dollar view from every room" is what you need to get block 3. Maybe the hotel could add "hundred dollar view" to the description for block 2 for folk like me not expert in the fine details. The price is about the same for both block 2 and 3.

It was our second stay in the premium King room at Duffin as a couple. The positives: the view from our cabin was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet, modern, cozy, and pretty clean (except for some mildew in the shower corners). It was super easy to walk to everywhere in downtown Tofino from the hotel. Staff were friendly and check in/out was super fast. Lots of parking at the hotel was available. The value for money was pretty good.
The negatives: the shower can get the floor/bath mat pretty wet as there isn't really a door, and the wifi was very spotty (which I didn't remember it being last year). Despite that, we would stay here again:)

Nice hotel in a great location. Walking distance to downtown Tofino. We stayed in one of the oceanfront cabins..... it was okay, but not sure it was worth $499/ night in the off season. Oh, and a lot of stairs to carry your luggage up and down!

The property has a beautiful view from the rooms and is super convenient to walk into town for dinner or local shops. The only thing to be improved would be to add more parking as the parking lot was often full just after dinner and difficult to find a spot. We had a lovely stay!

Our specific top floor unit had an incredible view. Everything in town is easily walkable in a couple of minutes. Staff was wonderful and accommodating.

Walkable to many restaurants the pier (for boat tours). has dedicated parking for hotel. I believe all rooms have a view of the water - sunsets were incredible. this was one of the lower $ options in Tofino and worth it!
