Very safe

This is a basic motel that is clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient to food and shopping in town. Staff are very nice. Price is right. Worth a stay.

Great location.

Room was reconditioned but looked like it was unprofessional done. All vents need cleaning and filters replaced. Found mouse hotel under night table. Would not recomend and will not return.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. We were very impressed. It was a short drive in to Espanola for eateries if the wendys and Tim Hortons across the street was not to your liking or desire. Downside, we were disappointed that our towels werent replaced after our first night, beds were not made, nor were the garbages emptied. Even so we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rooms definitely need upgrading. Water stained walls, tiles missing in the bathroom, but most alarming was a MOUSE TRAP under the bedside table. Substantially overpriced!

Its right beside the highway. With food options tims hortons and wendy right across the place. Rooms are decent, only the washroom didnt have lock. Other than that you cannot expect more as the location here will be closed by 8 pm.

Goodman's Motel was exactly as expected. We wanted a budget friendly place for two nights while we explored the area. The motel is conveniently located. Wendy's and Tim Horton's are just across the street. It's a short drive into Espanola where there are more places to eat and shop. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean. Negatives would be traffic noise, but we expected that. Also I prefer a key card to the standard keys this motel uses, but it seems like a very safe location.

We were not happy with this facility at all. Our door did not have an appropriate lock, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink so we did not try the shower. The bedding was minimal two very flat pillows on each bed and very old sheets and comforter. There were water bubble/water marks in the bathroom walls and in the ceiling. For price we paid through Travelocity it was way ovrepriced. I thought it was advertised at $115.00 but that was in US even though it’s in Ontario. We were billed $161.00. When I spoke to the owner about the lack of hot water he said I was wrong. And even left me a voice message when I left saying he checked and there was hot water. Very disappointing.

The place is an older motel, so it's not fancy or modern, but it is clean and well kept. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The grounds look a little run down, but it's early spring so there aren't many things growing yet. The cost was very affordable. If you're on your way from Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie and need a halfway place to stay, this fits the bill.

The beds were comfortable. The rooms were tidy, but not really clean. Our towels were stained and yellowed, we thankfully had some of our own to use. My son (22yrs) cleaned the bathroom as there was urine on the toilet seat. Multiple areas of mold were visible on the bathroom ceiling and corners of the shower When the curtains were pulled across the window they were also stained and there was something sticky along the edge of the table. We were at the end of a long day of driving, and this was the second room we had been given as the first room was obviously not cleaned from the last guest, or we would have stayed elsewhere

Great room. Very easy to check in.

In fortunately the room was very outdated and definitely needs money to be spent to clean it up from the flooring to the pillows and sheets in the room. I’m sorry to give such a poor review

It’s in a convenient location, right off of the highway. There’s a smell to the water and there’s not enough towels for double occupancy

There was red on the lightswitch it looked like dry blood? Checking out the room on the first night, the deadbolt was broken, and the floors were kinda dirty im glad i had my slippers BUT service was good and it was very easy to park and navigate. Room service would refill towels and make the beds with no questions or prompts

Convenient room in a convenient location. it's a basic/standard Motel. And as such it was perfectly good. We arrived late, so the owner/operator had to scramble out of his apartment to give us the keys. Only thing I would mention is that the price was high for the kind of place/room that it was. But definitely would stay again.

Booked for Kitchenette room and did not get. The owner manager was rude at check In time. No respect and argument, totally denying about kitchen room. Not recommended at all.

Well positioned, with food options nearby, and helpful staff.

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Plenty of hot water, clean room, friendly help. Will be staying again in a few weeks.
