Knights Inn Orillia

The hotel was super clean, friendly guy at front counter to check in. Room was clean and smelled nice, not like normal low priced hotels. Parking lot was not great, but they only have so much space so not a big deal as it wasn't busy. Hotel was quiet and area was quiet overnight. We only spent one night just barely long enough to sleep, but were impressed with the place. We would stay again..

As far as hotels go I’m not too picky. But I’m a HVAC tech and I know when the air filter needs to be changed in the ac/heat unit. I woke up in the middle of the night with it being very dry and stuffy. In the morning we both had stuffy noses and and sore throats. Found a lot of garbage behind the bed.

The only good thing was the shower. It seems to have been brand new. Otherwise,the room was filthy. There was stains, reddish brown ones,sprayed all over the walls. Like someone was shooting up and it didn't go well. I've watched too much Intervention, I guess. The couch was flat and hard and worn out. And there were only two pillows for two people and they were worn and flat and hard. It needs a good scrubbing,all the walls, bathroom too. They wouldn't let us pay cash,which is weird. And it was extremely pricey for what it was. Would not return. Had I not booked through Expedia with a credit card, I would have left.

Out of the way motel style, small rooms but clean enough, poor quality tv.

Didn't check in tried to cancel after reading reviews I didn't feel safe travelling alone there and reading the reviews about cleaning

Clean comfortable stay with friendly accomodating staff.

We stayed here because we needed a place to sleep after a show at casino rama. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. Coffee was available when we woke up and the price was very reasonable. There were several restaurant options within 2 km of the hotel. If you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a clean, affordable place to stay, the Knights Inn exceeded my expectations.

Furniture outdated but very clean. Owners very friendly and hotel was very quiet allowing for a good sleep.

The hotel and room was not as advertised. It was not well lit and the lobby was dark and front doors locked. Called a number on the sign and someone finally came and said we had to use a different entrance. Upon opening the door to the hallway we encountered a strong smell of marijuana and plug in air freshener to cover it even though there is a sign in the lobby that says no cannons. The room was over powering with air freshener to cover the musty moldy smell. The carpets were not properly vacuumed and the bed cover had a black mark on it. We did not stay in the room. We called them and asked for a refund and were told we couldn’t have a refund and had to call the next day to speak to the manager. We ended up driving home late at night as we could not stay in the room. When we called five times the next day we were hung up on when we asked for the manager five times. We have escalated this with Knights Inn head office and will be with Expedia also. We paid for a room that we did not use. It was not clean properly and the odours throughout the room and building were not healthy.

This place was SO filthy i wouldn t let my dog stay there!

Staff was good

Kids running up and down hallways. Building had the scent of cigarettes and slight cat pee despite being not pet friendly? Room itself was visually clean. AC worked well.
