Motel du Haut Phare

A great little motel right across the street from a beach and lighthouse. If you love a good sun rise you can leave the curtains open and see it from the comfy bed. And on a clear night there are tons of stars. On your last day we saw a few seals playing around very close to the beach. This motel is close to all the hiking trails of Forillion park.

We really enjoyed our stay

We keep coming back to this hotel for the great view and location, but it's also always scrupulously clean and quiet. The tiny kitchenette had everything we needed for a 10-day stay, and the innkeeper, Eric, and his staff are wonderful.

Peu de restaurants autour

Très bel endroit, le chalet principal est magnifique, et tout près des entrées du Parc Forillon.

Très belle accueil avec explications en details pour les chalets ecologique. Éric est extrêmement dévoué pour ses clients et s'assure que l'on manque de rien.

La chambre était ce qu'elle devait être, mais la vue était absolument exceptionnelle!!!

If you are going to hike in park, this location is definitely your best choice.

Great stay and close to several restaurants, gift shops etc

The person who build these small Charlet borrow a lot of ideals from RV make it every eco-friendly, e.g. gravity toilet, I actually thinking about replacing my toilet with the gravity toilet, you have full control how much water to use, second one is the baby water tank supporting the show, it really made me think the huge 60 gallon tank is too much. 5 minutes shower is actually what we need in most of time. The the material used to build the chalet looks sturdy with granite floor and wood ceiling and walls. The website instructions really underrepresented the property. The owner should have represented it much better. Much better than a lot of 2 star hotels. Highly recommended for everyone. BTW, a brand new Chef BBQ and possibly to have fire make mashmellows. I played soccer with my son on the huge backyard. Great view right in the second level of bunk bed was a surprise!

Nous avons été vraiment bien reçu par les proprios. Vraiment gentil, d’adon ! Nous donne de l’information sur les bons spots, les activités. La chambre était très propre ! Micro-onde, mini frigo et cafetière ! Tout pour ce débrouiller.

Quel magnifique lieu. La vue est unique. Un environnement à découvrir.

Lit n'est pas très confortable et pas d'air climatisé

The best thing about this motel is the fabulous view of Forillon National Park and the cliffs facing the Gulf of St. Lawrence. We stayed in the older part, which had wonderful view from our window and door. The older part has small rooms, but they have been updated and are comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a great base for exploring Forillon. A special note: nearest restaurant is 9 km. Nearest supermarket is 20 km. Not all rooms have kitchens, so plan ahead.

Within walking distance to the shore, lighthouse and there was an evening concert by a local gentleman. Super relaxing
