This was my second time staying at Nomas Hotel. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. This is not a traditional hotel. More boutique like. The kind of hotel you might expect to find in Europe. If you’re looking for something a little different than I think you’d really enjoy staying there. The hotel has 3 floors but there’s no elevator. Also best to have a smart phone if you plan on staying at Nomas. You can use your phone to unlock your door. They have a cool cafe/bar/restaurant on site as well. The Nomas is located in a very vibrant area of Toronto. Lots of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The subway is less than a minutes walk so it’s a very convenient location.

they were incredibly kind and accommodating. when they had an issue with their heating they were happy to provide accommodations as well as other benefits to make up for it. i really enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel is in an excellent location-Koreatown on BloorW. There is a restaurant in the same building as the hotel, which is convenient. Hotel check in and check out is digital-at first I was taken aback by this feature, however, there are some serious perks to this arrangement, which I appreciate. In this sense, the feel of the hotel is a kind of mix between a hostel and a hotel, which honestly, I like. There are after hours support-If you call customer service, you get a response (both call and text). The room was clean, stylish and had all the amenities a hotel room needs, ample towels, comfortable bed and couch seating. I believe parking is the guests' responsibility. The only downside is there is no elevator, so I recommend packing light. I was told the building is a historic site which understandably limits the ability to add an elevator. Another bonus, there are designated spaces for you to keep your luggage, even after checkout, which is very kind and helpful if you wish to tour the city after check-out. Overall, I would certainly come back for a stay.

I'll say some pros: it was very clean and modern, the staff were generally polite. However, the overall experience was terrible. We had *very* loud buzzing that occurred every couple of minutes and continued all night and morning which made deep sleep impossible. I called the staff and told them about it and they did nothing. That is ridiculous. The whole point of the hotel is to get a night sleep and we couldn't and nothing was offered. The check-in process is also silly, it's all done through your phone and AI and the AI could not recognize my face. Maybe I'm turning into a boomer, but I much prefer dealing with people rather than some AI that can't recognize that I am who I say I am.

Fantastic location - central to many of the diverse neighborhoods of Toronto and so convenient to public transport. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the room we had was spacious. Since it is a small hotel it really felt like we lived in the neighborhood rather than being tourists. A few downsides; for the price, at nearly $400 / night, I would not consider it a luxury experience. Since there is no traditional lobby it felt impersonal. No coffee in the morning other than buying it in the restaurant downstairs. It was an unusually hot weekend in July and the room never got much below 80 (28c) degrees and with only a down comforter on the bed we ended up sleeping just ontop of the mattress with no top sheet or light blanket. When visiting Toronto again we would definitely consider staying here again, but would also check out other options.

Super clean, comfortable accommodation. Municipal parking right around the corner ~$20CA for 24 hours). A little quirky for sure (minimalist rooms [my preference] above a restaurant/bar) but quiet, well located (for our purposes and seemingly central enough) and just what one needs. Only mention, everything to make coffee is available on site (kettles, mugs) but for the coffee so bring your own beans if morning coffee is your thing. Stayed twice, going and coming, and would absolutely stay here again.

This is such a cute boutique hotel! Everything was super clean, and the staff downstairs at the bar are very friendly. The food is also good. The staff running the hotel are super accessible over the phone and willing to help. I would say however you should read carefully before you book because there are NO ELEVATORS in the hotel and a lot of stairs. I missed that it was listed under accessibility and had a hard time lugging my suitcases up and down. Also, if you come in after hours and you have to use the side door there is a good 40 stairs you have to carry your luggage up on. Otherwise the hotel is great and so is the service.

The hotel is easy to access and relies on pins and lock access. But when I had trouble through the night with noise, there was no one to respond/no help available. The next day, they really came through and helped tremendously, which made my stay really nice. New business getting off its feet so some growing pains, but clearly led by customer-centered staff and owners. I would come back again and recommend the place.

I loved my time at Nomas. It is exactly what it describes itself as. The neighbourhood may whimsically be described as vibrant with lots of cuisines on offer and individual non-chain stores including a handy thrift store (for a jumper if the city is cooler than expected), a store selling products of Tibet and an art & craft store. The restaurant in Nomas is fantastic! Too cool to have the world cup showing, even though Toronto was a host city. Loved that!! I did breakfast there everyday. Amazing cocktails too. Staff were friendly and helpful, at every turn. If you want name brand hotel living, with sheets changed everyday, this isn't for you. However, if you want a place to stay while you explore the city, with accessible travel links, a varied choice of where to eat and friendly staff, go with Nomas. Plus the Bata and Royal museums are a feasible walk away. The ultimate test is would I stay there again? Yes I would. Happily.

This is at best a bougie hostel. There are places in Toronto for similar prices that have functioning AC, drawers with clothing items belonging to previous guests (someone's nasty socks), and parking available to guests (the listing here says it has parking, but that is a lie - you have to use city parking). All communication with the property management is through text. We texted them about how warm the room was (AC not functioning), and they gave a blanket statement about Green initiatives and policies with the city of Toronto yada yada. Their solution was to use a provided fan. Only after our insistance did they actually send someone to see how warm the room was (arrived at our door with yet another fan), and he determined this was abnormally warm. Only after a protracted conversation with Expedia customer service and the property management did they actually turn the AC on. It remained on for the rest of the stay. But that should never have had to happen. The room is decorated nicely. It presents well, but Nomas has a lot to learn about hospitality. TLDR they lied about the AC and didn't want to turn it on for us. Expedia posting lied about parking availability and was ultimately not helpful in the resolution process.

Ótimo hotel, muito bem localizado, próximo ao metrô, com acomodações novas e bem limpas. Não dispõe de elevador, mas a equipe estava à postos para ajudar com as malas. Quando voltarmos à Toronto, certamente voltaremos também ao hotel.
