Amazing place. Incredible owner. Frauka was so helpful, provided lots of recommendations for things to do (all of them were wonderful - such as car ferry at LaHave, hike to Goff's point, Reisser's Beach!) and places to eat (Naked Oyster was amazing!). Bed was so comfortable, giant tub as well. So quiet and peaceful and convenient to explore Mahone Bay, Oak Island, Chester and other coastal towns. It is sad that the B&B is being sold as a private residence and this is the last season - anyone who has had the pleasure of staying here will never forget Frauka's hospitality, the lovely setting and the peaceful environment. Thank you so much!

A beautiful and tranquil location well situated to explore Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and surrounding area. Our space, both indoors and outdoors was nicely appointed, comfortable and welcoming.
Our hosts were remarkably friendly and helpful while respecting the privacy of their guests. Extraordinary well organized with resource information to make the most of our visit. We would most definitely stay again.

Frauke was the perfect host. Excellent guide to the area and extremely welcoming. The room was well equipped, quiet, and had an enormous bed!
Even though, formally, breakfast isn’t served there is fresh coffee, yoghurt and granola.
Mahone Bay is beautiful, with its iconic churches. We had very good meals at Rebecca’s and the Naked Oyster.

We liked the quiet and the privacy of the property. Salt water was close. Hostess was friendly and informative of the area.
We thought the price was high, especially as it did not include breakfast. However, coffee and wafer were free and timely in the morning.

Beautiful renovated farmhouse just outside of Mahone Bay. Front porch overlooks the river. Spacious rooms. Wonderful hosts and a great get away for singles, couples or families. The family suite is perfect when travelling with kids with two bedrooms and attached bathroom - something that is rare to find at a B&B.
