Samesun Montreal Central - Hostel

Rooms were spotless, staff is always courteous and you get a youthful vibe on scene that's pleasant and vibrant. I'm 53 and wouldn't go anywhere else to stay in Montreal. It's like your own apartment surrounded by fun if you want, privacy and quiet when you don't at the right price.

Great place to stay. I’ve stayed there at least 20 -30 times over the last ten years. Staff are always very helpful and courteous. However, I’m disappointed with the outcome of my formal request to refund the last two nights of my one week stay due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict. I understand the reservation was non-refundable, but I made the request days in advance. In addition, since the last two nights were on a busy Friday and Saturday, I am certain they were able to book the room for those days to someone else. In effect, I paid for those two nights, was denied a refund, and then the room was booked to someone else, thus Samesun got paid twice. I will continue to stay at Samesun, it has always been a great place to stay and is just better than other options. But I should been refunded those two days without much thought.

This is my go-to-place whenever I need to relocate within Montreal. I love the free breakfast. The staff are friendly. Nice. Wifi is fast. Great.
