China World Hotel, Beijing, is one of the longest-standing five-star hotels in the Capital of China. I love its staff and geographical location! The service level is both highly superb and personable. I admit that the hotel is not as new as some of the five-star hotels in Beijing, but it is the "old charm" that gives me a sense of being at my own home! I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers, both international and Chinese domestic, to fully experience how great this hotel is and has always been!

We stayed here for a week, and have stayed at this property for 20 years. This is an excellent location for Beijing - the mall has lots of food options, easy to get transport, and walking distance to some things (Beijing is just so huge.) The staff are very helpful and accommodating, the property is beautiful, and breakfast is fabulous (it is huge, so look at all the options before you decide.) Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect just one thing. To clean the tables during breakfast, the staff drove these "trolleys" around the tables, picking up dirty plates, glasses..etc. At one end of theses trolleys, they throw the leftovers. It was simply DISGUSTING". All the bacteria flying in the air Not hygenic at all!!!!! You do not do that in a 5 star hotel. NO.

I checked in on Sunday Oct 13. It took 30 minutes waiting in line to check in. The reception staff was completely overwhelmed by the number of people checking in. I expect better service at a 5 star hotel. This is inconsistent with normal Shangri-La standards.

호텔 위치 최고 입니다. 궈오마오역과 연결되어있어 다니기 너무 편리했고 공항익스프레스타고 환승해서 오는 것도 정말 쉬웠어요.그리고 호텔과 쇼핑몰이 연결되어있어서 식사도 불편함 없이 했습니다. 다음번 북경 방문때도 재숙박할 예정입니다.

It was generally fine; however, the check in process still has issues as it takes too long and that the staff at the front desk lacks English skills.. The rooms are generally good, but could use a few updates.. Need a general bar area as the lobby lounge is nice, but cold in the winter time..

The best hotel I have stayed at in China. Interior decoration, the room are large, beds perfect, bathrooms great, personnel, service, Horizon Club is something extraordinary - most service minded personnel I have experienced in my life and the food and beverages excellent.
