Our stay at the Waldorf in Shanghai was absolutely wonderful. The highlight for me was the Panorama Room. The view over the city was breathtaking, especially at night. It felt like we had front-row seats to the beauty of Shanghai.
The staff were exceptional: super professional, friendly, and genuinely kind. Even though some couldn’t speak English, they still made the effort to communicate and were very kind in engaging with my son. It made our stay feel even more personal and warm.
I’ll be honest: on the first day, there was a bit of a moldy smell, especially noticeable in the bed. But by the second day, it was fine and no longer an issue. It didn’t overshadow the overall experience, which was still outstanding.
If you’re looking for luxury, top-notch service, and an unforgettable view, this is the place to stay in Shanghai.

This was a winner. A fantastic location, large, clean and lovely rooms, and the Waldorf Staff was so kind and helpful. I loved everything about our stay there. Breakfast is lovely, and as an American struggling with chopsticks, I really appreciated the forks. Just a gorgeous and kind place to stay.

5つ星ホテルとは思えないです。
調べてから連絡しますと言いながら何の連絡もなかった。
バンコクのウォルドーフアストリアが素晴らしかったので選んだのですが失望しました。
2度と泊まりません。

Really good hotel. I have travelled a lot and stayed in many 5 star hotels but this one is surely in my top 3. The staff is just really very welcoming and treats you like a king. Rooms are big and very clean and complete. Strongly recommend this fabulous hotel!
