It was clean and quiet. It is far from downtown, so you must pay for expensive car rides to the hotel. There are no restaurants around, so you have to buy the food at the resort. The food was good but it is expensive compared to what you can get downtown. The staff is super nice and helpful, and many of them speak English and Spanish.

The pictures look much nicer than reality. The staff: excellent. I have nothing to say but good things about them. There is no alcohol, no wine at the restaurant, no fridge in the room. No hot water. The sink in the bathroom had no drain. They don’t provide water bottle nor can you purchase them on the premisses. It’s by the ocean, but the ocean is across the street and you can not even go near. It’s far from everything. If you are used to the basic luxuries you will hate it there. But again, the staff was so nice it kills me to give that review.

We loved how accommodating the staff was when we wanted to check out early. They were incredibly friendly, everyone wished us a good morning. The property itself is nice, however there were a number of people just kind of lingering around with nothing much to do other than just stare at you. It is not close to anything, but food and drinks at the restaurant were affordable and they accepted various types of payment which was convenient. The pool is lackluster, but good when you need to get out of the heat. Beds were comfortable. We weren’t able to get a taxi to the airport, but did manage to talk down the price of a buggy which we rented for the day and dropped off at the airport. FYI - there is no airport transfer as mentioned on Expedia. The island itself is lacking resources and is very poor, we kept our wits about us when we went out and didn’t run into any problems.

I knew it was far from the center, 25 min by car, I knew it was eco, but if I ask you to clean my room and you don’t, cmon. Breakfast was simply, eggs, sausage, pancake and some other stuff, cereal, toast and cheese. They said food was outstanding but expensive, to me just expensive. Better places out of there. That said there’s airport transfer, but couldn’t communicate with hotel because number isn’t updated with Hotels.com, when we were leaving they said it wasn’t included even though on the page it says it’s included. Pictures of room were not the actual rooms which really upset me. On top of everything, waiting hours for the room, it wasn’t clean, which is ironic because that’s why we were waiting. I understand I was early, but then don’t tell me you are giving me a room.

Its away from the city. Very peaceful. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good at restaurant. All the food on island was great. Grounds need a lot of TLC. The rooms spacious. No hot water. We ended up moving to another hotel closer to downtown with warm water and more modern decor.

Its away from the city. Very peaceful. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good at restaurant. All the food on island was great. Grounds need a lot of TLC. The rooms spacious. No hot water. We ended up moving to another hotel closer to downtown with warm water and more modern decor.
