Igloo Beach Lodge

Great place to stay. Super cool rooms, easy walk to the beach, great pool, and great breakfast.

Alojamiento bonito y original, la piscina genial y a 1 minuto a pie de la playa, tienen música a través de Google, lo que es un puntazo. Lo menos positivo: está lejos de todo, hay que coger el coche siempre, pues por la carretera no se puede andar a pie. El restaurante tiene los precios de la carta SIN impuestos, y eso es engañoso. En la piscina hay tumbonas de madera pero la gran mayoría SIN colchoneta, ¡no tiene sentido! Hay más alojamientos antes de llegar a éste desde Quepos que están mejor situados. La referencia sería el restaurante El Avión, cerca de ahí serían geniales por movilidad.

Both Expedia and hotel management did not indicate we had a “jungle” view room. If we knew, we would have reconsidered. We asked for a room change, but it was not possible. Note that the front desk isn’t operational after the restaurant closes. While the pool is small, it’s clean and welcoming.

This is a unique property if you are looking for something different. Each room is a separate "igloo" so it is very quiet. The grounds are very pretty and quaint. The lobby/restaurant are one space which create a very homy atmosphere. The food was excellent and the bartender was fantastic. The only thing missing in the room was a microwave but the space is limited. There is a mini fridge which is nice. The walk down to the beach is flat and easy. Manual Antonio is very hilly so it is nice to be able to walk so easily to the beach. I would recommend this place!

Fint inredda " iglos", vacker innergård med pool, mycket nära till den superfina Playa Espadilla. Hjälpsam man i receptionen som jobbade vissa dagar. Minus: Restaurangen som ligger i hotellet är ganska dyr, ingen speciell mat, enstaka otrevlig personal och vi kunde inte betala med varken Amex kort eller Mastercatd. Goda dtinkat.

綺麗に清掃されていて、寛ぐ事ができました。朝食も美味しく、スタッフの方々はいつも感じよく対応して下さいました。帰りのタクシーも手配して下さり大変助かりました。

Clean room close to the beach

Property was beautiful. The room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Loved that the pool was open 24/7 and there many beds and chairs. Food at breakfast was great and definitely walkable to Manual Antonio National Park and the beaches.

Love everything about this place.

I booked Igloo Beach Lodge with high expectations, but my experience was extremely disappointing and unsafe. Our room had no hot water, and despite trying for over an hour, it never worked. We attempted to call multiple numbers, but no one answered. The security guard informed us that no staff would be available until 9:30 AM, leaving us with no way to reach anyone in case of an emergency. We had to go to another hotel just to shower. Expedia also attempted to help, but the property has been unresponsive to Expedia’s multiple calls and emails. I did not receive any reply from the hotel until the following day around 10:45 AM. On top of that, the walls are extremely thin — you can hear everything from surrounding rooms and outside, which made it difficult to sleep and enjoy any peace and quiet. Hot water is a basic necessity, and having no staff or way to contact anyone overnight is extremely unsafe. While the property later apologized, this does not change the fact that guests were left without essential services, emergency support, or proper communication. I cannot recommend staying here, especially for travelers who value safety, reliability, and rest.

Great friendly staff. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, walked to the gorgeous beach. Room accommodations were fantastic and breakfast was even better! I highly recommend this charming little hotel!!

Loved the place

Nähe zu schönem Strand (inkl. Affen!) ist gut. Igloos schon etwas abgewohnt aber bieten alles, was man braucht. Wlan hat nicht überall funktioniert. Frühstück Americano beinhaltet 1 Scheibe Toast, auf Nachfragen bekommt man keine 2 nach - das sei nicht inkludiert - schade!

We loved this place! Stayed on a family vacation with me and my 13 year-old, and it was great - appropriate for couples, families, etc. The pool was great, the location on the beach was awesome. The igloos were so cool - cozy, but enough room to move around and hang out. Breakfast at the hotel was delish. We would highly recommend to anyone going to Manuel Antonio!!

Honestly one of the best places to stay in the area! Super peaceful, 3 minutes from the beach, restaurant in and around are delicious! Great staff and super chill people. Pura vida amigos!
