This is a great place to stay. Theres a casino right there on property and a mall a block away. Airport is about 20 minutes away.

My only complaint would be the water in the room sinks never got hot..
Havent had a cold shave since the Military.
The shower had plenty of hot water no issues, just the room.
Otherwise everything else was great!

The hotel is pretty average. Lobby is nice, there is buffet breakfast everyday as well as a la carte, an attached casino, and a gift shop. The staff are very nice but the hotel is far from a lot of excursions. It was my first time in Costa Rica and I thought I did enough research but apparently not. Try to book your own excursions because the hotel concierge does not know much and it was very expensive booking through them. My advise would be to stay closer to the mountains as almost everything is there. But, there is a wildlife refugee less than ten minutes away from the hotel by Uber and I definitely recommend visiting an Indian restaurant named Taj Mahal, which is also in close proximity to the hotel, that is a must try. Definitely take sweaters and long pants in your traveling backpack because the climate varies in different areas and the temperature drops at night in San Jose.

MAL, me hicieron el checkout antes de yo haber entregado la habitación. En consecuencia me quede sin internet ni acceso a la habitación. Me han cobrado 3 veces la cuenta, dicen que se reversaran 2 de las 3 transacciones. Hasta el momento sigo con los 3 cobros. Atención en counter terrible. No lo recomiendo. No volvere

I was in San Jose for business and a little pleasure. The Sheraton is a beautiful property; the staff was very pleasant, the property was immaculate, and the food options were very good AND there is a great mall in walking distance. I highly recommend it.

Our stay was excellent. Our assistant Alex Bell an was very helpful. He gave us ideas for places to visit, times to commute to the destinations and general advise about renting a car vs using Uber for visits to distant locations. Alex was very personable, polite, kindly, considerate and helpful.

Das Check-In war grauenhaft. Wir mussten 1 Std warten, da die Reception unsere Buchung nicht fand. Dann wollte man das wir das bereits bezahlte Zimmer nochmals bezahlt. Und dann hat man nur eine Buchung für eine Nacht gefunden. Jedoch haben wir zwei gebucht gehabt. Später hat sie das dann auch gefunden.
Dann haben wir ein falsches Zimmer erhalten. Und mussten nochmals an die Reception ein neues Zimmer zuweisen lassen.
Eine entsprechende Entschuldigung oder so haben wir nicht erhalten.
