Great spot. We stayed here during a business trip and ww found it to be the perfect location near latacunga. The service was impeccable. We had dinner at the property and I strongly recommend it, not only for the food but because there is nothing else around and the experience was beautiful.

Hartanah ini menawarkan pengangkutan pindahan dari lapangan terbang (surcaj boleh dikenakan). Untuk pengaturan pengambilan, tetamu mesti menghubungi hartanah 48 jam sebelum tiba, menggunakan maklumat hubungan pada pengesahan tempahan. Tidak ada meja depan (tempat menyambut tetamu) di hartanah ini.Untuk membuat pengaturan daftar masuk, sila hubungi hartanah sekurang-kurangnya 24 jam sebelum ketibaan, menggunakan maklumat pada pengesahan tempahan.Jika anda merancang untuk tiba selepas 19:30, sila hubungi hartanah lebih awal menggunakan maklumat pada pengesahan tempahan.  Tetamu akan menerima e-mel dalam masa 48 jam sebelum ketibaan yang mengandungi arahan daftar masuk. Hos akan menyambut tetamu ketika ketibaan. Maklumat yang disediakan oleh pihak hartanah mungkin menggunakan alat terjemahan automatik.

Hartanah ini ditutup dari 1 September 2025 hingga 24 Julai 2027 (tarikh tertakluk kepada perubahan).

Hato Verde is an hacienda located 15 min north of Latacunga, with easy access from the Panamerican Highway, which makes it a perfect location as base for exploring the Cotopaxi National Park and the Lake Quilotoa Loop. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, with nice views of the surrounding green fields, recently renovated. You can take advantage of the hacienda facilities, get fresh milk for breakfast and check the area horse riding. My recommendation is to rent a car in Latacunga so that you can have the freedom to explore the area for food and activities. If you don't want to drive in Ecuador and avoid getting lost, then Hato Verde has a tourist van to help you. There is no TV in the rooms but you have access to internet.

I brought my family from the States here for a few nights because it was so well located for getting to different places in the highlands and it looked nice in the pictures. What a treat! Maria, Cesar and the kids were all wonderful; we felt like part of the family. The hacienda is elegant and we really enjoyed sitting in the evenings near the fire places talking about everything from our trips to the challenges of running a farm in today's Ecuador. This is a working farm--we would meet Cesar at breakfast after he had finished two hours of morning milking. So, we not only got great advice on where to go and how to get there, we got to talk to them about being a farmer in Ecuador and life out of Quito and Cuenca. We also got fresh food from the farm--the food was well prepared and professionally served. All in all, a great place to stop to explore the Central highlands of Ecuador.

There are very few choices in the Cotopaxi area and we decided to go here due to the reviews in Expedia. The place was just what we were looking for. It is one of the best places we have stayed at. The food was amazing and the owners were very helpful and were always making sure we were OK. The only drawback is that it is a little hard to find, but just call the owner and they will direct you.
