Mindo Real

Delicious breakfast, beautiful property with a nice pool and birds everywhere. The host was very helpful and is able to communicate in English and Spanish. We loved our stay and hope to visit again someday!

Great place for the rate.

Excellent staff; very accommodating. We have some dietary restrictions and they were able to still provide us with luscious meals. They were always available to help whether calling a taxi or helping us with laundry. They went above and beyond by allowing a late checkout as our bus was not until the end of the day.

Large property with individual bungalows. Beautiful grounds bordered by a river. People come to Mindo for the outdoor experiences. In my case, birdwatching which I was able to continue right on the property of Mindo Real

Me encantó este hotel. La atención es excelente y el jardín es precioso. Pasé bastante tiempo cada día paseando por sus instalaciones, observando las aves y las plantas. Reservé dos noches inicialmente, pero decidí extender mi estancia una noche más porque me gustó mucho. El hotel está a solo 5-10 minutos caminando del centro, rodeado de naturaleza, lo que hace que la distancia valga totalmente la pena. El desayuno incluido es delicioso y variado. Si volvemos, sin duda nos alojaremos aquí nuevamente. El último día nos fuimos muy temprano, y la dueña tuvo el detalle de prepararnos un desayuno caliente para llevar. ¡Fue un gesto muy bonito que hizo nuestra experiencia aún más especial!"

Beautiful place to stay. They set out food for birds, so every morning at breakfast there are beautiful birds to observe. One of the owners, Maria, works so hard to make sure everything is perfect. She speaks English well and tries to make her guests happy with their stay. She answers all the Whats app messages, checks people in to the hotels, helps serve breakfast, and helps clean the rooms. She is on top of everything. She doesn't have any problem calling taxis either. The pool was refreshing and clean. You can walk a few minutes down to the river and there are picnic tables there.

Lindo lugar...excelente servicio....creo que la segunda habitacion que ocupamos necesita cambio de colchones.

Very nice hotel and great service. Room #3 got a wake up call most mornings from a toucan tapping on window, awesome ! Definately recommend and staff gets 5 stars !

Lovely property tucked away in a beautiful garden and forested area near the river, just a two minute drive from downtown Mindo. Great value for the price paid, nice breakfast included. The hosts are excellent communicators before, during and after your stay. Rooms are kept very clean, serviced daily, and are nicely appointed. The mattress on my bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped it would be. The stairs to the upper floor rooms where we stayed are steep but doable. Would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was wonderful they helped book outings and even help us get a doctor because of daughter was sick and brought things to cabin to help us . The meals were delicious and we were in awe of the beautiful setting and how diligent care in the garden only helped this

A little piece of heaven in Mindo, Ecuador. The property is beautiful! It is easy to see and feel the love put into everything at Mindo Real. Maria greeted me, and told me about different things I could do on the property, the pools which were very inviting, a covered area with hammocks, trails, a beautiful walk to the river. The rooms are clean and lovely, big windows that when left open amplified the sounds of birds, frogs, bugs and? nothing else but nature. There was a big open patio outside my 2nd floor room where I could sit outside, relax, and enjoy the views. My first walk back from town, I realized how very special the grounds at Mindo Real are. The driveway is long with beautiful plants and flowers lining it. On that 1st walk back I saw Yellow Tanagers, hummingbirds, and even an Agouti. Breakfast was so good. Fresh fruit, eggs, something fried with cheese, bread, and marmalade that I shared with a Golden Bellied Flycatcher each morning. I can't forget the Loja coffee, hot and black. There were hummingbirds, butterflies, and other birds all around. Anything I needed help with was quickly addressed, an extra blanket, a taxi, all I had to do was ask. Maria even purchased time for my sim card when she went to town the morning after she spent an hour the night before trying, I paid her afterwards.There was a state of emergency with curfews when I was there. I never felt unsafe in Mindo or at Mindo Real Lodge, day or night. I am 66 and was traveling alone.

A little walk to city center.place is quite and clean, Internet is good.ans Maria at the one that took care of us in all we asked was superbe.

Located 10 mn walk from the center,the area is super quiet,we had a confortable bungalow surrounded by the forest and plenty of birds and butterflies in the morning. Staff is extremely helpful giving any indications you need for the places to visit.Breakfast : fruits,eggs,bread,water fountain.a big pool.Everything we needed for our stay in Mindo.

Is quiet and safe, close to town.

we were greeted as soon as we stopped the car and were given a choice of rooms, breakfast was extremely good, the coffee excellent,the weather was wet but we still found local things to do. Highly recommended for quiet and peaceful days,nonight life nearby, suited us perfect.

The property was excellent. Large expansive campus, with each cabin secluded, private and quiet. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was incredible. The cabin was roomy enough for the three of us, very clean and neat.

I will stay here again, beautiful and peaceful stay. Breakfast was delicious
