The Gate Hotel Front Pyramids & Sphinx View

Chambre très propre, meilleur emplacement du Caire et personnel très professionnel et compétent, je recommande cet hôtel !

L'hôtel est très bien, parfaitement situé devant les pyramides. les prestations proposées, confort des chambres et repas le sont aussi. Par contre nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur les pyramides et quand nous sommes arrivés il nous a été attribuée une chambre avec vue sur le mur d'un immeuble en travaux à moins d'un mètre de notre fenêtre (avec reprise des travaux le lendemain matin dès que le soleil s'est levé...). Malgré nos contestations, le réceptionniste nous a dit qu'il n'avait plus de chambre de disponible mais qu'une nous serait attribuée le lendemain. Le lendemain, l'équipe de la réception avait changé, donc nouvelles explications, mais toujours pas de chambre de disponible. Après négociations, le repas du soir et le transfert vers l'aéroport nous ont été offerts. Une compensation, certes, mais maigre au regard du préjudice subi, et cela restera donc le gros point négatif de notre séjour d'autant que le prix de la chambre que nous avions réservée était plutôt élevé par rapport aux prix des hôtels voisins.

The Internet connection did not work at all. We were told that there is no connection around the area although my mobile data was working. Although one of our friends stayed in a different hotel not far from us no Internet connection was impacted in their hotel so we got the point. The Wi-Fi did not work. Plus we did not have any water supply when we checked in as this is a very important matter. You could not flush the toilets or have a shower we were supplied with Nestlé water bottles.

Breakfast was good staff very good service and the owner a great person .

Excelente precio, ubicación, vista, servicios, atención, todo! Las personas q trabajan allí te atienden como q fueras un gran faraón ! Un desayuno delicioso, típico, variado, buffet, higiénico, bien decorado, completo, etc. Felicitaciones!! Volveré allí otra y otra vez!

Besides the view- there was nothing good about our stay. Room was on top floor without any elevator. Nobody helped us with our bags...so we had to carry 4 suitcases up several flights of stairs. Then we get to our room and our bathroom sink was clogged. We asked someone to fix the issue.. which they 'said they stopped by & did fix'. However- it was worse afterwards. Sink was clogged with sewer/waste smell coming out...which filled up entire bathroom. We could not even step foot in there. We literally got this room to freshen up & relax... and couldn't even do that.

ピラミッドのチケットの目の前にあります。 シャワーの水圧が弱いけど、お湯は出ます。使う量を気にしないと途中から水になりそうな感じだったので注意が必要です。 スフィンクスviewは感動でした。 睡眠時間を削ってでも空港から遠いこちらのホテルを選んで正解でした

Good location right in front of the Sphinx and the tickets office make it convenient to get in and out of the Pyramids area without the need for transportation. Staffs are very nice and lovely. The room is good and comfortable. The surrounding areas are safe to walk about at night with all the restaurants and shops that open late. The hotel also has taxi service at fair price. Great overall experience and will definitely stay here again.

Awesome place. Super clean. Friendly staff. Having no elevator was a bit challenging but the staff made up for it by running things up and down. The pyramids view was to die for. It’s like you’re sitting right there between the pyramids and sphinx.

Dirty room

Depends on what you expect, if is the view, it is exceptional you can almost touch the Sphinx. If a 3 star hotel is expected, then it falls very short, I give it only 1star even when I got the best suite.

Bed broke as soon as you sat on it,

Upon arriving we were warmly welcomed by everyone at this amazing family run hotel. I booked this hotel for 1 reason, the view but, after the 1st day, it was about so much more than just the view. You will not meet a more dedicated team, people who go out of their way to help and assist, with anything needed. There's a lot of love here, a lot passion for what they do and they are incredibly well set up. Our room was utterly amazing for the view alone but the room was also well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Our stay here was like no other small hotel I've ever been to, a birthday cake, decorations, balloons, were all put out in the room, for our arrival, celebrating my daughters birthday. The effort and love will never be forgotten and I cannot thank the hotels owner and staff, for all of the effort that was made over the duration of our stay. Thank you and very much appreciated.

Water was sometimes not Working but the rest was good. I also dont recomend booking a tour guide through the hotel, they charge way too much.

The Gate Hotel is in a perfect location for the Pyramids & Sphinx! It has a wonderful terrace & rooftop that overlooks the whole area! Delicious food provided at breakfast and a wide range of options for lunch & dinner! Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful! Room was very comfortable! We had a windowless room but still had a small window to let some natural light in. 100% recommend staying here!

We had an amazing experience right next to the pyramids and the sphinx. The patio dining provided a wondrous view with excellent service and delicious food. The rooms are clean and large with great ac. The front desk service, particularly from Ahmed, was helpful and courteous.

Incrível, a melhor vista para as pirâmides de todo o Egito. Quarto espaçoso e acolhedor, com varanda privativa. Atendentes super educados.

Love this hotel, great staff and close to the pyramids.
