Best location, clean unit. Easily accessible to the downtown & taxi. Owner was very helpful. We had booked One Bedroom appartment, but considering our old age & my hip replacement surgery, she gave us ground floor unit for the same price. We would recommend everyone to go for Fox Homestay appartment. We will come back to the same place again.

The owner, Rukshana and family, are amazing and great hosts. We were there for 12 days for work and anything we needed from taxi, food, laundry she would help us with. This is the 3rd time I have had people stay with her (4 man team/4 rooms for 6-weeks, then 2-man team/2 rooms for 4 weeks) and I have not had a complaint from anyone who stayed there. If you are looking for a great host and nice hotel/apartments with microwave, refrigerator, good internet, cold AC, cooktop, with 5-minute walk into downtown, I don't think there is anywhere else to stay in Suva. It isn't the Ritz-Carlton but is great and relaxing for people like us who don't want to eat out all the time or stay in a small cramped hotel while on travel. Hoping to get back and will definitely stay there again.

Meja sambut tetamu dibuka setiap hari dari 7:00 - 22:00. Untuk membuat pengaturan daftar masuk, sila hubungi hartanah sekurang-kurangnya 24 jam sebelum ketibaan, menggunakan maklumat pada pengesahan tempahan.Sebelum ketibaan, tetamu mesti melengkapkan pendaftaran dalam talian dengan hartanah melalui pautan selamat. Tetamu akan diminta untuk memberikan kepada hartanah salinan pasport mereka sebelum ketibaan. Jika anda merancang untuk tiba selepas 22:00, sila hubungi hartanah lebih awal menggunakan maklumat pada pengesahan tempahan. Tetamu mesti menghubungi hartanah lebih awal untuk mendapatkan arahan daftar masuk. Kakitangan berada di meja sambut tetamu untuk masa yang terhad. Maklumat yang disediakan oleh pihak hartanah mungkin menggunakan alat terjemahan automatik.

Rukshana was a nice talker but did not follow through. The utensils were missing so she sent some but not the pressure cooker. One of the gas burners was not working and she said it will be fixed tomorrow and that never happened. There was a rat in our room. On our last day, while we were away, someone had obviously been thru our stuff.

The property is safe and clean. The owner, her family and their staff are wonderful! She helped us familiarize ourselves with the area. She drove us places and always offered to help. Our stay was made easier because of staying here.

The problem is with expodia.
1. The room rate is very unclear. It is labelled in $. I am sure it is in FJ$ or US$, leaving people to guess.
2. The receipt gives a breakdown of fees which do not add up to the final total.
3. The fee on receipt does not match with the amount on my credit card

While working in Suva, my crew and I chose to stay Fox Homestay located at 24 Spring Street in Suva. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and with good internet. Stove top and cookware available for those who like to prepare there own meals. It is within walking distance of downtown for convenient shopping and walking around. The host Rukkshana, her husband and son were very helpful during our stay. They always made sure we had a taxi when we needed one and if one was not available they would personally give us a ride. Upon arrival at Fox Homestay, they took us on a nice little tour to show us where everything was in the local area for shopping, restaurants, and bars. If you are going to be in Suva for a long stay and don’t want to be cooped up in a small hotel room, then I highly recommend Fox Homestay.

This is not a fancy place to stay but it is very good value for money. The owners are very friendly. The wifi is great and the aircon works well. These are the main things I look for for a work trip. The location is very good and is a 5min walk into the CBD/resturants etc. Highly recommended if you are looking for a more budget orientated place.
