We had the family room and was very spacious for us. Room was clean and the staff very friendly. Location was great too. We’d recommend staying here if in Avignon for a few nights like we were. Only improvement we would suggest is a small fridge in the room for drinks but appreciate it wasn’t advertised in the booking but feel it would make a difference.

We had two rooms for a two night stay. The air conditioning in one room (46) was excellent, however the air conditioning in the second room (47) was minimal or not functioning. The front desk had a look and unlocked more controls on the thermostat but that didn’t make a difference. No other rooms available. The staff were friendly and tried their best with what they had. Something new to us at breakfast was the basket of eggs. I discovered after the fact that you have to cook them yourself. However the bath of boiling water in which you would normally do this was broken. Thinking it was already pre-cooked, I cracked it open at the table and… well… sorry about the mess!

Tudo ótimo, quarto, cafe da manhã, banho, etc. Só tenha em conta que é um hotel no centro e portanto nao tem elevador! Tem estacionamento pago perto, o que é ótimo, porque nao se pode chegar com o carro no hotel nem para descarregar as malas. Apesar desses pontos, recomendamos!

First time in Avignon and this hotel was superb. The staff welcomed us after a horrible train ride from Paris and explained everything we needed to settle in. The room is spacious and clean and the street view is lively. Location is central to everything - hence the name. Always felt safe and the hotel restaurant has great service as well. Would stay here every visit to Avignon.

Parfaitement situé dans le centre ville et à l'intérieur des remparts, très bien équipé et sécurisé grâce à l'utilisation de la carte de la chambre pour l'ouverture de la porte d'entrée le soir ou l'accès à l'ascenseur pour les étages. Parking a moins de 10mn à pied. De nombreux restaurants à proximité. Excellent pour pouvoir visiter la ville.

le personnel est très accueillant et l'hébergement est situé en plein centre d'Avignon (rue piétonne) attention sur le site d' Hotel.com il y est indiqué un parking alors qu'il n'y en pas propre à l'hotel mais parking public disponible (et assez cher) à pied à 5/10 mn; il faut donc l'anticiper car le stationnement peut être assez compliqué dans le centre historique d'Avignon.

Vorab - das Hotel liegt perfekt im Zentrum von Avignon, alles was man braucht und sehen will, ist fußläufig zu erreichen! Aber: wir reisen mit viel Gepäck und achten deshalb bei den Buchungen immer auf Parkplatz und Aufzug - beides in der Hotelbeschreibung als vorhanden angegeben, beides nicht vorhanden. Der Portiere hat mir dann zwar, nachdem wir mit viel Schweiß mit dem Auto vorgefahren sind, Parkmöglichkeiten in Avignon gezeigt (300 m vom Hotel entfernt), aber dass er meiner zurückgebliebenen Frau angeboten hätte, die Koffer ins Zimmer in der 3. Etage zu tragen - Fehlanzeige. Auch stellt sich die Frage, warum das Hotel sich als behindertengerecht bezeichnet - alleine schon zur Rezeption sind fünf Stufen zu meistern. Kurzum - bestens geeignet für Backpacker oder leichtes Gepäck, ansonsten besser das Ibis direkt am HBF buchen, da ist auch das Parkhaus und es liegt direkt außerhalb der Stadtmauer.

Poor breakfast. Too crowded .serving area too small. No access to get the food or drinks. Lack of food.. ran out ..because not enough availability to meet demand. Did not help because people made take out. Staff poor. Room on roof lovely. Clean . Great shower No coffee. Would recommend only if you don't have breakfast

I really like the breakfast here, with so many good options and so delicious. My room was at the first floor, so it was somewhat noisy, because I could hear the reception at night time. The location of the hotel is good. I enjoyed the short walk to museums and train station.
