Hotel le Nice Etoile

Great overall!

En af de ansatte var meget hjælpsom - det kan dog ikke siges om alle de ansatte. Lokationen var virkelig god! Sengen kunne godt have været længere. Der er meget lydt, så vi kunne tydeligt høre hvad de andre gæster lavede.

Hotel basic but clean as was the bedroom which had a comfy bed ( less so the pillows). Very helpful polite staff: on check in quickly changing my room due the room safe not working. Also let me leave case on checkout for collection later. No breakfast to speak of: croissant and coffee. No lift. Good for main tram link to the shops/airport and beach ( also walkable in 20 minutes)

Nice hotel, not much around though. Near tram and train stations which is good.

The customer service desk was very friendly and helpful. We needed a lot of info about the area and requested several things and they were very accommodating. The location is great. The area can be a little noisy when garbage trucks come through at odd hours or people are on the street late at night, but ear plugs help. Overall the room was comfortable, but very tight in space. The pictures online look much bigger.

Pedro and his female college were the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Their dog, Tommy, was so well behaved and loves to play with his toys. Pedro steered us to Old Nice and the sunset overlook where we had a great time. I very much recommend this hotel.

Einzelne Möbelstücke haben das Rentenalter schon erreicht und gehören in kein Hotel. Aber ich möchte nicht weiter meckern. Das Personal ist sehr entgegenkommend und hilft wo es geht.

Un hôtel simple mais avec un accueil serviable et chaleureux que j’ai beaucoup apprécié. On m’a même prêté un tube de crème solaire pour aller à la plage !

Le personnel est à l'écoute et réactif. La chambre bien que petite propose toutes les commodités et est très propre ainsi que la salle de bains. La clim était déjà en marche à notre arrivée. Personnellement c'était un peu trop frais (22 degrés). Il faut demander à l'accueil si vous souhaitez augmenter la température.

The staffs were kind, caring, professional and pleasent.

The checkin was easy. All the staff were pleasant and answered all my questions. I had a room three floors up (no elevator). The A/C worked well. The TV had no English channels, but that was OK. The bathroom door was this flimsy wooden folding door; I was afraid to push it to full closure for fear it would fall down, which meant it was impossible to make the room dark for early mornings or naps. The continental breakfast was grim. The espresso machine that worked less and less each day to the point of only making hot chocolate. My main concern was a large dog that moved around the first floor. His owners no doubt know him to be friendly and good-natured, but he is an unfamiliar dog to me, and I prefer he be leashed or kept behind a gate (they have one but don’t use it). One morning around 7am, an alarm went off. There was no attempt to ensure that guests went downstairs, nor were guests told it was a false alarm. In fact I never received any communication before, during or after that explained the alarm. This is serious to me. Furthermore, as I was heading down the stairs (only I responded to the alarm), the dog was behind one of the doors on the stair landing. This time he was very agitated from the alarm and was snarling and barking. I knew they were about to open the door and felt very vulnerable on the stairs. I yelled “hold the dog” several times and got down the stairs. I do not want this kind of stress when I traveling.

Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening , lite men rent og hyggelig rom. Beliggende i stille tverrgate til Le Medisin hvor trammen går. Eneste minus var at det luktet mugg eller lignende på badet selv om det var rent der , ikke heis. Gangavstand til togstasjonen.

The location was great and the staff were helpful and friendly. The online pictures were misleading. My room was in disrepair. The whole hotel smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, including the room. If I hadn’t already prepaid, I would have changed hotels.

Property location was great, right off the main strip, not far from the beaches or old nice. The air conditioning worked very well. The rooms were still dirty and had some damage to the door. We were moved to another room which wasnt much better. There were some small bugs. It was a very budget hotel. It would be fine if you are solo or arent expecting any amenities.

It was good for the price. Very central and very accommodating people. Hotel nice Etoile was very basic.

Très bon séjour. Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans l’hôtel et cela s’est très bien passé. La chambre est peut être un peu petite pour un long séjour avec des valises mais pour une nuit c est suffisant. Propre et bien localisé

Room is quite compact. There is no remote for the TV or the heater. The receptionist keeps the remote for controlling the heater. They tried to turn on but it didn’t work so room was cold.
