Though the rooms are small the location of this hotel is excellent. The front desk staff is very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The small size of rooms is not unique to this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and we loved our stay.

This was our third stay. The room was spotless but the shower a bit awkward. The staff is very friendly. The area around the hotel is one of the best for visitors. Plenty of stores and restaurants and safe. A metro stop is 100 feet away.

This hotel does not look at all like the picture, it's pretty much a scam. The rooms are tiny, everything is old and it's not sound proof. Let me be clear, the picture is nothing like the actual room, not even close. Do not stay there, it's overpriced and you will be disappointed.

This hotel is a joke. The room was so small even though we upgraded. We were 2 young adults and had only one handbag and a big luggage and it was not enough space to put the luggage. The bathroom was another joke. The sink was so small so when we washed our face alll water came on the floor, and the shower was also small so all water came out of the shower. Every day we had to wait to get room service so we could stand in the bathroom without having to splash water whenever we walked. A total mess. Total score 1/6. the picture lied, its not like this in real life.

The room was tiny which is expected in central Paris. The floor was very dusty. The shelves on the inside of the wardrobe were dusty. The maids came to clean between 4-6pm so we had to send them away. The showers could set the smoke alarms off. We had a fire alarm at 8.50 Monday morning. There is a bar directly next door to the hotel that regularly has parties on Saturday nights with loud music till 6-6.30am.

Horrible experience. They will keep your deposit even with no damages and make up a reason to have charged you ie: we gave you a smoking room (when we are not smokers). This place is a scam.

Fairly small room and quite compact to say the least. Was quite noisy on the lower floors/levels, mostly from the street bars/restaurants which are open till late. The surrounding area is mostly safe, but on the weekend you do get some strange/drunk characters walking around.

It’s a basic accommodation, small hotel but very good location. We were comfortable in our room. Grocery store and pharmacy were very close. Lots of restaurants around. It’s in 6th arrondissement.

The Vavin Hotel says it has air condition rooms except the air conditioner didnt function. My reservation was in August. The room had a fan. I had to sleep on top of the bed with the fan blowing on me. The hotel location is great location, across the street from La Coupole, cafe Le Select, and next door to Relais d'Entrecote restaurant. But I would stay there again in the summer months because the lack of AC.

Chambre de taille convenable. SDB a besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Clim ne fonctionne pas mais il y a un ventilateur dans la chambre. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. L'hôtel est très bien placé, à deux pas de multiples lignes de métro et du jardin du Luxembourg.

It was a great convenient place to stay. But it said it had air conditioning, but this was broken and the room was too hot to sleep in, very inconvenient. Also the safe was broken, so we had to take all our valuables with us each day. Not the best.
