We absolutely loved our stay at this family run hotel. It was quaint and within walking distance to the city center. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had even though our French was not to fluent.
The breakfast was wonderful with of items to choose from and an indoor or outdoor seating area to enjoy eat and enjoy yourself. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel was just what we were looking for in Dinan.
We highly recommend Saint-Malo Gate Hotel to anyone looking to visit the area. Truly a hidden gem! We will definitely being staying here again during our next visit to the area. Merci beaucoup to all the staff!

A charming hotel right in the historic area of Dinan. Breakfast was amazing! The hospitality was kind and welcoming. You can enjoy wine in their bar area or in the outside patio. Historic building adds character being possibly one of the oldest buildings in Dinan. Walkable to all the sights. Would highly come back and we recommend.

Un accueil très chaleureux et familial. Légers aménagement du bar pour un service futur très prometteur et une ambiance vraiment calme. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et les commerces vraiment proches.

Nous avons déjà dormi plusieurs fois dans cet hôtel charmant. À deux pas du centre ville, stationnement facile et gratuit. Très calme. Par contre attention la 5G ne passe pas dans les chambres et le wifi est très mauvais. Idéal pour une déconnexion totale ;)

This is a beautiful and historic little hotel in a quiet street very close to the town centre. The rooms are elegantly furnished and immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed and large shower. Great breakfast too.

The hotel is lovely! Our room was spacious, and well appointed. There were cute outdoor sitting areas within the property. Parking was on the street but we had no difficulty finding a spot. Walking distance to old town. If in the area would definitely stay here again!

This place is unique! Very nice. But narrow (old), with steps & stairs. Not best for elderly.

Place to visit again!
- Small fridge to the room? With so many terraces, balcony´s and patios.
- Please, even slight vacuum to the room, at least every other day.
- Normal cheese and some veggies for the breakfast?

The hotel is partially renovated, we had the room on the top floor. Because there is no elevato the staff was able to help with bags.
The only disappointment is that the towels were not changed so i suggest to ask and make sure if you want that too happen.
Breakfast was very nice with local food.
