Hôtel Mercure Lyon Centre - Gare Part-Dieu

We found the hotel to be modern and clean. In spite of its location right by the main train station, the room was extremely quiet. We found it convenient in that we were able to walk from the train station as well as from the car rental agencies after dropping off our car. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. We appreciated the good coffee and complementary filtered water in the lobby. A minor inconvenience was that Uber drivers could not pick up or drop off in front of the hotel and you did have to walk a block for pick up. Otherwise, the train station taxi stand was nearby. Our only complaint was with the air conditioning as it didn’t really cool down the room to the temperature it was set at and we experienced high temperatures while visiting Lyon. Overall, a good stay.

J’ai eu une réceptionniste dimanche après midi pour lui signalé que j’arriverai tard dans la nuit Je lui est expliqué les raisons ,elle nous a laisser une petite attention que je n’oublierai pas C’était tellement adorable surtout avec la fatigue du trajet Merci infiniment à cette réceptionniste ,malheureusement je n’ai pas son prénom

Nice comfortable room spacious and the breakfast buffet was good!

Wife was happy with the room but found the bed too big. I was happy with the breakfast

駅近くてショッピングセンターも近くてとても便利。今回は祝日があり日、月曜とお休みの所が多く残念だったがホテルのせいではない。 広いお部屋でシャワールームとトイレは別でゆったり。理想はバスタブがあればもっと良い！

Hotel was very close to the rail station, but we could not hear them in the room. Room was as expected and perfect for 3 people. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Suite parfaite, lit confortable, grande salle de bain, wc independant. Garage en sous sol avec accès direct dans l'hôtel

The staff are very courteous and professional. Area is awesome for shopping and across the train station. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Toilet and shower is separated - so awesome for family stay.

Pros: - very conveniently located at the Part-Dieu hub for public transit and the airport shuttle Rhonexpress - very nice breakfast buffet, though it is unchanging day to day - generally well appointed room (though small to be called a suite) - water and nespresso coffee in the lobby much appreciated - restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful - room service was great evening of arrival - check in at noon is great for transatlantic guests Cons: - very poor ventilation in the room, it was uncomfortably warm and humid. This was brought up twice with the front desk (+once at checkout) - the attendant was quite rude and condescending about this (I’m not looking for freezer conditions, I’m quite happy at 23C, but the room seldom dipped below 27-28C). Very disappointing for this caliber of hotel… who knew that Mercure truly meant heat. - The shower drain is not calibrated for the water flow. Within 5 min of the mist spray (not the big shower head), water was already overflowing. Similar for the sink. - No Expedia VIP amenity (we were told that they sometimes offer parking, but that is useless, especially for travelers selecting a hotel next to a train station and transportation hub!$ - One of the lobby attendants (woman with large glasses working regularly on days and evenings of the week of May 26) was quite unpleasant, especially with regards to opening the lobby door for us on arrival. I can wait a bit if the front desk is busy, but she would make us wait 2+ min.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, parking de la Villette,négocié à mi tarif, literie confortable, insonorisation parfaite.

Superbe hôtel, très bien situé, près de la gare. Personnel accueillant et chaleureux. Petit déjeuner excellent. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Air condition was functioning well.

Très bon séjour. Hotel propre et nombreux services. Possibilité de recharger votre véhicule électrique avec câble T2 j’ai réussi à charger à 11kW. Le forfait est de 6€/h un peu cher mais pratique. Équipe accueillante et à l’écoute.

Ótima localização.

J’ai été dessus par mon lit qui m’a fait passer une très mauvaise nuit. En effet j’ai réservé pour un grand lit confort et je me suis retrouvé avec un grand lit mais 2 MATELAS DE UNE PLACE collés l’un à l’autre et donc on se retrouvait dans un trou à chaque fois et il faut descendre pour recoller les 2 matelas. Situation très désagréable.

Convenient location with the train station just right at the doorstep

The location is perfect. Next to the train station. The only thing that needs to improve is the variety of the breakfast buffet. A little of fruits and vegetables would not hurt. Also, the pillows are like super soft, which is not welcome when you need head support. Other than that, all is good. Oh, one thing: the shower is amazing!!!

Great location from the train station the room was really nice. Better ventilation in the bathroom would be nice and resurface the shower floor it was pretty scary for a couple in there 60's.
