Hôtel Mylos - Cargèse

Mylos is such a special place -- we stayed for 4 nights but never wanted to leave. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, with easy communication via WhatsApp before, during and after our stay. Parking onsite, including an easy-to-use charging point for our electric car. The design of the hotel is so thoughtful, and the set A/C in our room was perfect at all times -- refreshing, but never too cold or too hot (this is surprisingly difficult to achieve!) Comfortable bed, great shower, beautiful terrace, and plenty of space to relax. We were working remotely during part of our stay, and the wifi was fast and stable everywhere, including by the pool :-) (Power outlets tucked away next to the pool lounges: another genius/subtle touch.) Pool temperature: warmed but refreshing. Genius idea to have Nespresso machines located throughout the grounds (+ a jar of canistrelli) for a quick pick-me-up any time. Perfect location: perched above the charming town of Cargèse with gorgeous views, just a few steps down to local cafés, restaurants, épiceries, the local boulangerie, the local supermarket), a short drive to the most idyllic beaches (we loved Menasina in particular). Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were lovely -- dinner in particular was so delicious and relaxed, with a great local wine selection. And after departure, when I saw I’d left my AirPods behind, Justine at reception was kind enough to arrange to have them quickly mailed back to me. All the love for Mylos!

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable à l'Hôtel Mylos et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. L'hôtel est magnifique, avec une décoration particulièrement soignée et moderne. Gros coup de cœur pour la piscine extérieure, la "grotte" (piscine intérieure) et la vue splendide. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Cargèse, un village absolument adorable. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, la propreté irréprochable ainsi que les "offices" mis à disposition avec thé, café, eau fraîche plate et gazeuse et canistrelli : une attention très appréciable. Quelques points pourraient être améliorés : les viennoiseries du petit-déjeuner étaient assez molles, il manque un après-shampooing dans la chambre et les bracelets "Ne pas déranger" ont tendance à se coincer dans la porte. Nous avons aussi regretté l'absence de mini-réfrigérateur. Nous comprenons la démarche écologique, mais nous avons seulement appris au départ que des glacières pouvaient être mises à disposition sur demande, information qui mériterait d'être davantage mise en avant. Malgré ces quelques détails, l'expérience a été exceptionnelle. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet hôtel.

Neues, modern gestyltes Hotel mit schönem Infinity-Pool and Frühstücks/Restaurant-Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Zentral, oberhalb vom Ortskern gelegen – Restaurants/Geschäfte sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Im Hotelrestaurant gab es nur wenige, aber sehr gute griechische Speisen zur Auswahl, allerdings auch relativ hochpreisig. Ein Hotelparkplatz ist vorhanden, wird aber mit 10€ Tag in Rechnung gestellt.
