i booked this hotel because of its excellent proximity to Gare Du Nord and Gare L'est, both locations central to our stay. After making the booking i read some reviews which caused me some concern, those concenrs were entirely unfounded and i can only presume those who were negative expected champagne on a beer budget. This is a good honest hotel, it doesnt pretend to be something it isnt, its budget friendly and i can say i have stayed in hotels with more stars than this and had poorer service. the staff were excellent. The room we stayed in while dated were very clean and comfortable. at the end of the day the room is just to sleep and shower, i dont go to a hotel to look at the 4 walls all day. theres no coffee/making facilities in the room but thats not unusual in Europe, and i knew that when i booked. given how well we were looked after and its proximity to the train stations i would stay here again if i ever come back to Paris.

The two best things about the hotel are the staff and the LOCATION. It is perfectly situated across the street from Gare du Nord. Multiple transportation options!! The people were very helpful. The condition of the building and the rooms is not ideal.

The hotel was very convenient for Gare du Nord, Paris and it was clean. The room and bathroom were spacious and there was a lift. However, for a "superior double", it was very basic. There was no feeling of luxury, there were no tea or coffee making facilities and there was only one small pillow each. We did not have breakfast.

Very old and felt mould in the air! The breakfast is in another hotel and you had to walk there (it is cold in November!). No slippers provided and we were told to keep the shoes inside! Extra star for tiding the room in the mornings (no changes of the sheets, just towels). No kettle in the room or water jug, nothing.

cumple con su función. lo que se puede rescatar es que esta exactamente frente a la estación de trenes y metro mas grande de parís, por lo que esta conectado con todo, pero los cuartos si son muy pequeños, y la zona nos dio miedo, aun que hay muchos restaurantes y lugares de comida rápida cerca. El personal no fue muy amable que digamos, y aunque no tuvimos ningún percance no nos sentimos bien de que nos pidieran que dejaramos la llave del cuarto cada vez que salíamos.

the room 36 and bathroom were spotless,bed made every day,towels changed every day,bathroom looked as though new,the wardrobe claen and large with secure safe fitted. I sleep with a torch under my pillow and it fell down the back of the bed and I had to retrieve the torch from under the bed,the cleaners have not cleaned under the bed for somewhile,not seen but should be done but apart from that was good in that room and staff very friendly and helpful,24 hour front desk is manned.A 100% bonus this hotel is directly opposite the Gare Du Nord rail station where you arrive on the EUROSTAR........ Their breakfast was not for me,you have to leave the hotel and walk around the corner to find the place and go downstairs and lets leave it at that but not for me or my companion but plenty of eateries nearby. would I return , yes 100% worth more in my opinion of a 2 star.

The room was extremely small, felt more like a box than a proper accommodation. There was no kettle or no fridge provided, which made the stay quite inconvenient. The shower has no curtain, so whenever someone used it, the entire bathroom became wet and slippery-posing a safety risk. Overall, I wouldn't recommend stay overnight here.

The shower has no curtain, so whenever someone used it, the entire bathroom became wet and slippery-posing a safety risk. Overall, I wouldn't recommend stay overnight here.
