Labadi Beach Hotel

Lovely hotel grounds, pool and outdoor/restaurant areas. My ground floor room was spacious but incredibly humid. Running the A/C constantly was needed to keep the stifling humidity at bay. Definitely try to get an upper floor room if staying. The TV / Satellite channels did not work at all in the room.

I loved the lush tropical vibe. Lots of food options. I loved the spa. I spent half a day there at the private pool after getting a massage. I had a lovely stay. It’s a party location, so if you are looking for easy access to entertainment, this is the place.

Leider entspricht das Labadi Hotel in Accra nicht den internationalen Standards, die man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten würde. Der Poolbereich war enttäuschend: Die Liegestühle waren sichtbar verschmutzt, und es standen keine Badetücher am Pool zur Verfügung. Der Pool war so trüb, dass man die Füsse nicht erkannte. Ein grosses Problem sind zudem die zahlreichen Tagesgäste, wodurch der Poolbereich sehr voll und unruhig war. Zimmer: In unserem ursprünglichen Zimmer funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht, außerdem war die Lüftung stark verstaubt. Nach sofortiger Meldung beim Management erhielten wir zwar ein Upgrade, jedoch zeigte sich dort dasselbe Problem: Im Badezimmer befanden sich zahlreiche Schimmelstellen. Wir wandten uns am Folgetag erneut an das Management (eine andere zuständige Person), uns wurde zugesichert, man kümmere sich darum – der Schimmel blieb jedoch weiterhin überall sichtbar. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass die Mitarbeiter grundsätzlich freundlich sind. Umso bedauerlicher ist es, dass das Hotel offenbar ein Managementproblem hat. Es liegt nicht an der Anzahl der Mitarbeitenden, sondern daran, dass diese nicht effizient und richtig eingesetzt werden. Insgesamt leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Die westlichen Preise lassen sich nicht rechtfertigen.

The room was nice. The lobby is beautiful. Breakfast was okay. I wish the hotel had some type of activity for their gusts. Nightly show. Weekend shows. Music. Dj. Something. It was a holiday weekend and there was nothing.

The hotel is comfortable and generally pleasant, but considering the relatively high price, the overall standard did not fully meet expectations. While the rooms were nice, they were not quite at the level one might anticipate for the cost. Service was a notable weakness during the stay. Requests were handled very slowly overall. In one instance, I had to call twice and eventually go to the reception in person before fresh towels were finally delivered. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the slow service and the gap between price and overall standard leave room for improvement.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and felt comfortable.

Room was very nice, well equipped and clean. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The food was good too, although the buffet dinner was more expensive than I had anticipated.

Our stay was good and I’d consider staying on my next visit to Ghana. The only room for improvement was the front reception desk. Communication

Rooms are somewhat outdated, the indoor climate read not the best, would expect more at that price, otherwise hotel is very nice and staff a friendly. Breakfast is excellent.

Rooms are clean, the resort is clean. Breakfast is amazing every day. Beach is just okay.

On the night of 10/20 we woke up 12:30 and our room was sweltering. We called the front desk and was given a new room after we repeatedly told them we were not moving our belongings until later in the morning. We moved to our new room and it was a king sized bed instead of two twins. They then told us we would have to move to another room that had twin beds. Once that was all completed, it was 2:00 in the morning. Two days later on the 22nd, we get back to our room and it’s was sweltering once again. We called to the front desk and let them know. I decided to take a shower and put the do not disturb sign on the door. A few minutes later while I’m in the shower, I hear someone in the room. I knew it wasn’t my girlfriend so at that point I was scare. There was no lock on the bathroom door so I had no way of protecting myself. I leaned up against the door and said hello, who’s there. I male voice came back saying he was there to fix the AC. I said well I have a do not disturb sign on the door and he said he’s only fixing the AC. First of all, he disregarded the do not disturb sign and was unbothered by me being uncomfortable with him being there while I’m showering. In addition, we had to call on two different days to have our room cleaned which was not done properly. We were left with no towels, the garbage cans still full with garbage and our dirty dishes from the night before still remained. This was the worst experience. I want a refund.

A lovely hotel with amazing staff, always willing to help. For instance my a/c was feeble, so a standing fan was acquired to keep me cool. Tasty food in the restaurant, with attentive wait staff. My only suggestion would be to control the excessive music that is so loud it literally vibrates and it goes on from late afternoon to beyond midnight. It spoils the atmosphere in the hotel, interferes with sleeping and prevents me from giving five stars in my evaluation.

Amazing staff, accommodating and kind. Food on site was delicious with lots of options. The beach is not easy to stay on as there are many vendors walking the beach trying to sell items. Stay at the pool if looking to not be asked to buy things!

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal freundlich. Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt, es gab 2 Pools mit reichlich Liegestühlen. Frühstück gab es als Buffet und war sehr gut und reichlich. Abendessen konnte man vom Buffet oder von der Karte. Das Hotel hatte einen eigenen Strand mit Liegestühlen und Security. Der Hoteleigene Strandabschnitt war sehr sauber, allerdings direkt am Meer und der ganze Strand am Meer war voller Müll und Plastik und ladet gar nicht zum Baden ein. Außerdem herrscht ständig eine starke Strömung und ist nicht zum baden geeignet.
