Posizione proprio vicino al mare, appartamento grande e luminoso. Cucina un po’ piccola, con piastre e microonde, abbastanza fornita (avremmo apprezzato qualche strofinaccio in più).

Goed ingericht huis, alles is aanwezig. Voldoende pannen hier. Bedden zijn goed. Mooi uitzicht. Lampen ipv peertjes hadden wij wat mooier gevonden. Thermostaatkraan douche werkt helaas niet goed en het is een kleine cabine, dus je kon er niet onderuit springen als het water opeens heel heet of juist koud was.

basic place for a one night stay

The cabin is well constructed and very clean. Spacious room with kitchen and a living room. Private bathroom, shower works great without any clogging. Comfortable but a little small beds. The bedding is of high quality cotton.

I loved the cozy cottage, cooking there with sun going in through the window was very fun.

We stayed here as it was the perfect stop as we drove the Ring Road. The little cabin was cute, but we had limited hot water...

Very remote. New and cozy 2 room stand alone cabin with amazing view. On working farm property. Had some brief water issues but quickly fixed upon notice.

This was a quaint cabin that we stayed in and the owner was very good with communication. This is an extremely beautiful area and allowed us to visit a beautiful town next to the area. There are several waterfalls and hiking opportunities and I believe we could’ve used a kayak if we asked, but we did not have time to do this. The kitchenette was adequate for cooking simple meals.

Very nice view, is a nice, safe, quiet one time option on your way around Iceland, not for a long stay.

We did not receive our check in procedures from the property, luckily upon arrival, I was able to call and speak to the proprietor. The cabin was very spacious and well equipped. I would definitely recommend.

Nice cabin and great view!

This is extremely expensive option and is a very bad value for the money. They charged us USD $360 for one night for two adults and two children. This is exhorbitant especially given that the cabin is very basic with few amenities. -The bathrooms had no soap or shampoo. - The small kitchen did not even have the basic provisions (like salt). -They charged USD $100 for two people who had to sleep on a pull-out sofa. Not sure what that extra charge was for. -There was no one reception area to greet us during check in. -The pipes creaked in one of the bedrooms all through the night. -The hot water is very limited and uses a small tank (not geothermal). So, four people can not take a bath within a few hours. Hard to see how this basic cabin can be so expensive. The only outstanding aspect of the cabin is the view from window.

Great stay and Lindarbrekka. This property is actually a working farm in which you have your own guesthouse on the farm. The owner greeted us when we drove up. She had new puppies in the barn which made my children so happy. In the morning, we chatted with family members and learned more about Iceland. They were so warm and friendly. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Everything, as describe in the text and photo, is very accurate. we have late check in but the owner wait for us and receive us warmly. Totally recomended!
