There are many different buildings associated with this hotel. We stayed at the Prime Minister’s residence, which was a good location, however a bit noisy. We could hear the parties outside as well as other guests above us, but it wasn’t enough to keep us awake too long. Breakfast basket and fresh bread in the morning we’re very good.

The Reykjavik Residences are a cluster of smaller, charming buildings. Each with a different character. All of them lovely. All of the in the centre of the most charming part of town. Our studio suite was stellar. The people at the front desk reception are extremely friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay at Reykjavik Residence Hotels. Rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the breakfast basket for two days and it was more than enough food for breakfast and lunch. If you order the breakfast basket, make sure to remove the do not disturb sign or else they won’t deliver.

Great communication with the host, the property is clean. The location is walking distance to the main attractions in Reykjavik. Breakfast is brought in the fridge daily and at 8am we get the fresh bread bake from Sanholt! Excellent serbice from the reception.On our first day our power went out when we plugged in our power cord and the reception staff came to the apartment to get it fixed. Thank you - this is greatly appreciated.

Apartment was really nice. Had one little issue with check in. Wanted to check in early and pay the fee but the previous guests had not left yet. No problem. Came back hours later and was told that it was clean and ready but they were waiting for the final check. Was told I would get a text when it was ready. Never got a text but did get an email at the normal check in time. Elevator is a little noisy and could hear it in our bedroom. The apartment was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. Would stay again.

I liked the staff especially Victor and Shawn, the night shifts. They were very friendly and helpful. We loved their breakfasts. Only thing I didn’t like was that our bedroom was next to outside hallway, and people would bang the doors early in the hour waking us up. Also they need to repair or get a new sofa bed. It feels like you’re sleeping upside down needing many pillows and was very uncomfortable. We were staying at the Suite for 3 of us in room 908

This was our third time within a year staying at this hotel. We absolutely love the location and the homey feel this hotel gives. We have gone to their locations so many times that we know where to and not to park in Reykjavik. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are proud of their country and we enjoy going there. Wish they had a frequent stay program that we could get points to use towards our stay as I do intend on going back hopefully this year again.

Reykjavík Residence Apartment Hotel is one of those rare places that manages to feel both impeccably organized and completely unpretentious—a combination about as common as a sunny week in Iceland. From the outside, it looks like a collection of handsome historic buildings. Inside, it reveals itself to be a masterclass in Scandinavian practicality. There is space to spread out, a kitchen to prepare breakfast, and enough thoughtful touches to make you suspect that someone involved in the design process had actually traveled before. The location is so perfectly placed that Reykjavík seems to have arranged itself around the hotel as a courtesy to guests. Within minutes you can be admiring Hallgrímskirkja, browsing a bookstore, hunting down a cappuccino, or contemplating whether a country can survive economically if every cinnamon roll costs the equivalent of a small appliance.

Reykjavík Residence Apartment Hotel is one of those rare places that manages to feel both impeccably organized and completely unpretentious—a combination about as common as a sunny week in Iceland. From the outside, it looks like a collection of handsome historic buildings. Inside, it reveals itself to be a masterclass in Scandinavian practicality. There is space to spread out, a kitchen to prepare breakfast, and enough thoughtful touches to make you suspect that someone involved in the design process had actually traveled before. The location is so perfectly placed that Reykjavík seems to have arranged itself around the hotel as a courtesy to guests. Within minutes you can be admiring Hallgrímskirkja, browsing a bookstore, hunting down a cappuccino, or contemplating whether a country can survive economically if every cinnamon roll costs the equivalent of a small appliance.

No notes, great spot. Clean, well sized, modern, accessible, great location. Management was very responsive to messages. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy.
