Amazing, our second stay at Reykjavik Residence! Staff are so helpful. Can’t do enough for you. There was a maintenance issue with one of our original rooms so we were offered upgrades on all rooms to junior suites…..wow, they were beautiful.
Will recommend you to anyone I know who wants to go to Iceland.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The staff was so kind and willing to help. The included breakfast basket was nice as well. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland.

Room was clean and nice decor. Staff was nice and helpful. Daily cleaning was spotless. The breakfast was phenomenal- every day deliver a huge delicious loaf of sourdough and full basket of food. Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We were definitely catfished by the pictures. The room we were stuck with, which we paid extra for, was just so simple and cheap. The "wood" chairs were so cheap you could pick them up with your pinky because of how light the plywood is that was used to construct them. Additionally, the blankets were extremely small and thin, the room was never warm, and the bed was made up of two twin beds pushed together with a cheap mattress for my partner and I. Overall, would completely avoid this place if you're trying to unwind in a comfy room after traveling around iceland for so long. HOWEVER, despite all the negatives of the room itself, the staff was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much for all the help, Raul! You were the one positive of our stay at the Residence Hotel.

We are a Family of 4 that visited from Scotland for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Very central. We had a rental car but plenty of parking available nearby, just download parka app to pay for parking.

We loved the Reykjavík Residence Hotel as our apartment was great and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast baskets and freshly baked bread every day were fabulous, great variety, healthy and more than enough! We additionally regularly made sandwiches from all that was provided. This place is a must stay!

Our room was very clean and staff were very friendly. Facilities were good, there was a laundry room available in the main reception building although it was very hard to find a time when the machines were not all in use. We were somewhat disappointed with noise coming through into our room from the one above. We also did have some issues with the soap in the bathroom running out and not being refilled by housekeeping. However, the refilling of milk and juice for the morning was excellent.

It was our second time staying here, and we loved it once again! The breakfast is incredible and provides plenty for lunch or late night snacks. It’s always so clean and comfortable and well located. Everything, including the bus stop, is nearby. We’ve stayed in two different buildings now and were happy in both. We hope to come back next year!

The apartment hotel we stayed at the reception building, which is very convenient and close to Main Street. The room is fine as i expected, but only a bit shocked just the way walking through to my room from lift, it’s freezing cold, looks like out of part of hotel.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We has the family suite - really well equipped, beautifully furnished, great space and a lovely breakfast basket each day placed in the fridge and fresh bread each morning. We could sit and enjoy our breakfast when we wanted which was really nice. Great Nespresso machine too!
