Small and cozy homestay well located. Beautiful and comfy room with much needed radiator supplying heat on cold January mornings.
Staff were top notch and the breakfast and dinner tasty.
Arranged transport and check in even after arriving late (close to 1:30 a.m. at airport). Allowed us to store luggage there during the week while we explored Jaipur and Agra.
Defintely recommend if youre looking for a more boutique style hotel.

An excellent hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The owners made themselves known to all of the guests. Rooms extremely comfortable and well appointed and the meals were excellent.

There just room we were in was nice but after returning from dinner it smelled like someone had been smoking in it. The staff quickly moved us but the next room was having the street where dogs barked all night and the mattress on the bed sagged in the middle. I have it a 3 because the staff were helpful, the rooftop restaurant and bar was nice and the building is very pretty.

Very nice up market B&B in South Delhi. Service was excellent right from the start. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and cake. The Defence Colony area was notably much greener and quieter than other parts of Delhi. As this was our last night we decided to have the set meal for 1200rs which was amazing.

Great place located close to Lajpat Nagar and the Central Market. Service was great, rooms clean and tidy. It was great to come back to an Air Conditioned room from the humid August temperatures.
Rooftop closed for the monsoon months
June-August.
Very close to the Central Market great for shopping.

Colonel's Retreat isn't a fancy hotel with a pool. It's in a safe & quiet residential area and it has a "soul". The rooms are a good size, excellent shower and very comfy bed. The staff are lovely, they even when we had an early train offered a takeaway breakfast. They also organised all our pickups and drop offs very efficiently. The roof top restaurant is really nice and the meals offered there are really good. We stayed here for 2 nights and then came back for 1 night a few days later - they stored our luggage for us and it was all ready for us when we got back late at night. Would recommend this hotel.

Excellent property in a quiet neighbourhood, it is done up in a manner that it feels like a home away from home. The staff is friendly and they also serve very good food. I will surely come back again.

Great location in Delhi The staff were so helpful nothing too much trouble. The owners also so helpful and knolgeable providing the personal touch which demonstates how much they care about their guest. The food is excellent and I highly recommend the Colonel Retreat
