Vi var der i starten af november og der var sæsonen ikke rigtigt startet endnu. Hvilket betød at vi nærmest havde det hele for os selv. Stranden er lille og rolig, men meget privat.
Personalet var serviceminded og venlige. Stort udvalg af mad og drikke, tilberedt med lækre råvarer.
Vi havde booket 9 dage, men forlængede med 2 ekstra.

When i arrived it was like taking a timeout and Cuba weren't wrong when they said "this is where time slows down" - it was by far the most relaxed check in process of anywhere i've ever stayed. Blissful.
However, be warned that there is only one a/c bungalow that faces the sea, the rest are along the garden inland). When booking bungalows - as lovely as it is to stay close to the ocean you have to bear in mind that all of the adjoining properties (as well as Cuba) have restauarants and bars at the front on the beach and all play music until quite late at night. There are also quite a lot of dogs at night that make noise and fireworks which can scare half the life out of you. If you want to relax and chill out i would recommend you request a bungalow a little further back and then you will have a more restful night's sleep (and it'll be a little cheaper). Plus, you really don't spend much time in it anyway - i only retired there in the evening to read and sleep.
Mohan and Jeevan who manage the place were excellent. They couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable & make me feel at home (especially since i was travelling by myself).
The food was delicious - can't fault it AND i totally recommend going for a walk to a) Palolem for a visit and b) the main street of Patnem which has some really fabulous little boutiques - i was very surprised.
I will definitly be back to Patnem and Cuba... it's my new happy place :)

Super sejour au cuba patnem bungalow, super bien bien situe sur une plage tres sympa, propre et calme , restau tres bon (le soir table et bougie sur la plage), un excellent rapport qualite prix pour budget moyen.Apero le soir sur le top roof de notre bungalow au coucher du soleil, que du bonheur !!! Nous avons deja prevu d y retourner !!! (attention, pas de ménage dans la chambre pendant le sejour mais je pense qu il suffit de demander...)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay overlooking the beach. Food in the restaurant below is very good and the staff are great. One night of noisy music from next door but it was finished by 10:30.

We spent a great couple of weeks at Cuba Patnem. The rooms are basic, not deluxe as given in Cuba’s details. Bed linen and towels are tired and mattress hard. The bungalows could do with an upgrade when re-erected. Having said that we had an enjoyable stay. The staff are great and really polite and helpful. There are better beach bungalows in Patnem and Palolem that are cheaper and in better condition.

The location is great.. however the accommodation is very over priced, in fact double, than staying in other resorts which are much better.
Although we understand the power supply can be a problem in Goa, the power was constantly down, so we were unable to use the A/C during the day, which is what we paid the extra money for and in addition we had no water for almost 3 days, meaning we had to use our friends shower in the next hotel. The staff didn't seem to bothered to solve the problem.
The breakfast included was poor to say the least, although when paying for food, the food was good.
Its not a bad place, just very over priced for what you get. Having paid 130 euro a night, which was over the Christmas period, I would expect a lot more. 50 euro per night would be more acceptable.

I had an awesome view of the sea with sea facing hut. Patnem has a long and serene beach and our hut was practically on the beach. It was enchanting to see sunset from the balcony of the hut. Food was great. Staff was cooperative and friendly. Service was exceptional. Sushant manages and owns this property. He went out of his way to really make our stay comfortable. Cuba accommodated our slightly different check in and check out times compared to the one that hotel prescribes. They did let us keep our luggage with them for some 6 hours even after we checked out. Sushant arranged a shower for me even if we had checked out of hotel. I forgot to collect my shoes from the hotel. Sushant had them couriered all the way to Bangalore. Service orientation, empathy, care, location, vicinity to most loved tourist spots everything is exceptional about this place

Det var fina små stugor, toaletten var inte den finaste men helt ok. Åk inte dit om det finns risk för regn bara för stugorna läcker in....
Personalen var jättesnäll och hjälpsam, stranden var fin och inte så full med folk! Maten i hotellets restaurang var också bra.

A very peaceful and relaxing holiday. Friendly and helpful staff, good location on a great beach and excellent food at great value. Huts are basic (no surprise there) but were kept clean and were ultimately very comfortable (but thanks for the A/C). Interesting shower arrangement - although no shortage of hot water in the evenings, trying to get rid of the waste water was an exercise in it's own!

Great location. The huts are large but a little bland. Some have new ac units this year. Staff are great and the food is reliably good. It's just a shame that they downgraded my hut from sea facing to partial sea view and gave only a small refund to compensate.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights following 4 nights at their sister accommodation at the larger beach. Cost for both were pretty much the same, however service did not match up. The accommodation here was slightly better however location, nor atmosphere was not quite as good. Biggest issues was that this accommodation is very overpriced for what you get when compared with other nicer accommodation in the area. Do your homework and consider booking an alternative venue.

Cuba Patney was a great place to stay with exceptionally good staff led by Babush and Mohandas. The only gripe I have is it is very highly priced when compared to other similar types of accommodation. Whethe the premium is justified by the good service and food quality / price is a moot point.

Bra hotell med utmärkt läge direkt på stranden (underbar strand). Bra mat, lugnt ställe, trevlig personal. Glöm havsutsikten, längst fram ligger restaurangdelen. Bra frukost med ala carte val från meny. Rekommenderas om du vill ha en lugn och avslappnad ledighet utan en massa stoj.

Still ok considered what we paid (€ 34 a night), which actually isn't so little in India. You can find better if you look around yourself, but nothing else was there on hotels.com in this part of south Goa, and as we wanted to book solething in advance, we didn't have much choice. Pictures are misleading, there is only one bungalow on the beach, the other 11 or 12 are not. We thought we had booked a bungalow on the beach (that's what our reservation explicitely stated) but it was in fact the last one in the back, next to the parking lot.,,And the bungalow really it's just so wood plated nailed together, which are disassembled at the beginning of the monsoon period. Anyway, in spite of all these setback, the place was still nice, so where the people, location is just perfect.
