Metro Grand Hotel

I am going to put request for a refund as the hotel was not even a 1 star. No hot water in the shower, bathroom fittings were totally scaled and rusted and cockroaches running around the room. I have a video recording of the situation. Pathetic service and premises, not at all livable.

Hotel is very poorly maintained and dirty. Do not recommend to anyone.

Initially the checkout time said 24 hrs now they are asking to checkout in 13 hrs which is unacceptable

Worst hotel experience ever. Very old building with zero maintenance. Looks like a godown. Rooms, hallway, restroom and everything else is dirty and smelly. Don’t ever stay in this hotel.

Very old, dirty and unmaintained property.photos posted in the site is very misleading may be taken10 years back. Not even WIFI facilities there. Very disappointed

I was completely disappointed with this hotel. They didn't provide whatever they offered online. Condition of the hotel was very bad. There was a digging work under process just in front of the hotel which was blocking the hotel entrance. They have made a temporary bridge to cross and rich the hotel door. We can understand that this digging work at the entrance would be a temporary problem but when you enter the hotel you will understand immediately that you have chosen the very wrong hotel. There is no enough lighting in the lobby, lack of cleanliness, no enough staff, "no breakfast" Which was included in the charges, no packaged water available, "No WiFi" ( they told me that hotel Wi-Fi connection is disrupted due to digging work in front of the entrance), TV was working but sound was TV sound was cracking they fixed it later. room was small compared to pictures they showed, Fortunately AC was working.....!!!! Only good thing happened with me here is they gave me early check-in (on 24 hours check-in basis with 2 hours grace time for late check-out). I paid 1796 INR which is way too high for airconditioned room with just a bed....!!! The hotel denied me to give a printed bill saying: "you paid online to hotels.com, we can't give you the bill"...!!!

Stayed here twice. Helpful staff, great food and clean and comfortable rooms. Stayed in the suite both times and it was really nice. Will be staying there again for sure.

Unclean, slippery, bathroom shower without door in the executive suite, The breakfast was very good.

A very so so hotel. I would never stay again. We had to stay close to a marriage hall and hence we stayed here. The rooms were so tiny, I had to watch while walking to not trip over. The bed was not clean. It is not a 3 star hotel in any respect. You can literally hear people talking in the next room. The hotel was not flexible with check out time. They were flexible with other guests. They delayed check in by almost 1 hour since the rooms were not ready. There were many times we didn't have power at the hotel. The generator took a while to kick in. They assigned smoking rooms even when I had specifically booked non smoking rooms. We had 3 reservations on the same day with similar experiences. There was a ton of cigarette smoke coming in via the exhaust in the bathroom. It was tough having my 6 year old with me. The hotel has only parking for 4 cars outside the hotel. Overall a bad stay. I am generally a easy person to please .. this was horrible in many ways.

Comfortable rooms but the dinning area needs to be cleaned. Other than that was a good venue

Had a great stay! The staff were friendly and helpful and the room and bath were really clean.

Need to be clearer on billing details.

Good for a short stay and work in Anna Nagar areas

Besides the wifi not working well and the noisy club downstairs at nights everything else was ok

The hotel is pretty clean with excellent bedding and a very clean bath. The wifi works on and off an probably that's one of the areas that needs to be improved . They do not have a business center but I got printouts from them. Buffet breakfast was South Indian and had toasted bread too.
