Nebo hotel

Don’t get carried away just by the photos. The property lists multiple “sea-facing” rooms, but two of them are nowhere close to the actual sea views you see in the pictures. You’ll feel disappointed when you compare the view from these rooms with the others on the first floor — the difference is huge. They’ve conveniently not posted any pictures of these particular rooms, which feels misleading. Most people choose this place solely for the view, paying a premium and compromising on other comforts they could easily get in a 4–5 star hotel. So, if your “sea view” ends up being partially blocked because your room is set a few feet back from the cliff, you’ll definitely feel cheated — especially when you’re charged the same price as the better rooms. Before booking, confirm exactly which room you’ll be given and ensure it truly has the view you’re paying for. Also, note that while other rooms have both a fan and AC, ours only had an AC — which was leaking water the entire time. Don’t expect room service, breakfast, or any additional facilities. In short: only book this place if you plan to stay longer and want to spend time in your room enjoying the sunset. Otherwise, the intense heat and sunlight will keep your curtains closed most of the time, defeating the whole purpose of booking for the view.

I loved my stay here the staff are so easy going and friendly. The Ayurvedic massage is the best in Varkala and the view of the beach and ocean is amazing. I wanted a laid back place with no stress and that’s what Nebo is for me. There is no restaurant however Cafe Sarawaa and Trip is Life is minutes away. Also if looking for peace and quiet this is the place to visit South cliff as North Cliff is too loud and busy. Stayed in both and I prefer South ❤️

Good view of the beach from the hotel room. The sound of the waves helps one have a soothing stay at the hotel. Calm and peaceful place with the famous ‘ cafe sarwaa’ just adjacent to the property! Service was excellent with prompt response from the staff.

Very good location, bathroom amenities could have been better

I stayed in a garden-view room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The garden itself is beautifully maintained, and the hotel premises offer a stunning direct view of the cliff beach. We frequently ordered tea to our room, and it was always delivered with care. One downside was that there were no towels in the room upon arrival. I didn’t contact reception about it, so I can’t confirm if this is standard practice or an oversight. Overall, the stay was quite nice.

The stay was average. The rooms weren’t clean, and the AC leaked water into the room all night, which was quite inconvenient. The room also didn’t have a TV, despite being listed in the official description, which was disappointing. The service was okay, nothing memorable. The only highlight was the view from the room, but the price felt unjustifiable for the overall experience. Would recommend only if the view is your top priority.

Room rates are high for the quality of amenities provided and overall services. There's no room service, the on site cafe uses concentrates for all beverages, and some of these containers are not even close to being stored hygienically. The staff are ok but service is slow if you want extra towels etc. The view from the room is 10/10, waking upto a beautiful sunrise is serene. Access to the beach is easy and tedious at the same time. Overall we did have a good time.

Small frugal hotel with rooms precisely on the edge of the Varkala cliff, Located on south beach, away from the next of hotels of north beach. Walks to the south and fishing boats or the north and the Varkala nest of hotels. Two great little cafes nearby - one on the property and one a short walk south.

Die Aussicht des Panorama Zimmer ist der hammer. Der Strand ist gut ūber eine Treppe erreichbar & das Personal sehr freundlich!!

Probably the best views of the arabian sea...24 hours supply of vit sea!

Vacker utsikt mot havet och nära till stranden vilket var det bästa med hotellet. Avloppet i badrummet stank väldigt mycket. Sängen var alldeles för hård. Vi fick be om roomservice och ena gången fick vi inte allt som behövdes i rummet och vi be om det. Detta är mer av en 3 stjärnig hotell och inte en 4a.
