Park Avenue Hotel

DANGEROUS STAY. So within the first 3 hours of our stay, a plywood plank banged my head. Just to give perspective, when it struck my head I felt as if there was a blast in the room. Turns out it was a half-inch plywood to cover the central A/C. It was poorly held together and we, us and hotel management, could not figure out the reason of the incident. This is extremely unsafe. In a way, I am glad that it only struck me and not my kid or wife. No ambulance was called after the accident. I had to wait for manager for next 2 hours. We were offered to change the room but all the rooms have same A/C cover. It is highly unsafe from all perspective. We cancelled our stay and in 4-5 hours. Our money has not been refunded yet. The management team was apologetic but I would never recommend anyone staying there. The incident was horrible and could have gone much worse. I got my medical done and I have survived the impact. It could seriously injure kids and women.

The room looked like still under construction. Most of the wall plugs weren't fitted, a socket wasn't workjng and there are additional switches that don't have any use. The shower knob was jammed. No hand/face towels were kept.

Karachi Bakery, A2B is walkable. US Consulate, and many other dining and shopping malls and outlets are near by to this property.

Clean and quality service.

Property was decent and up to the expectations.

They gave me a room on the 4th floor. It smelt very bad as I got off the lift. Room was not good either. However they had a smaller room available on the first floor and that was alright.

Rats make lot of noise in the night

There is no hot water at this hotel and porter service is poor . Rooms are dirtier and washrooms smell bad, overall terrible experience

It was convenient and hotel staff was co-operative. Security guard helped me to get auto and cab.

The location is the only positive aspect. The place is very old and congested. Breakfast and dining options were extremely limited. It was not worth the money I paid for this accommodation.

Wasnt pressive property.. everything feels old. bath room was shabby. Missing toiletries. Water pretty .uch got everywhere o the bathroom floor outside the bath area. Checkout was lengthy without insights on what they were doin. Couple of staff was helpful and the restaurant next door is cooking pretty good food.

Humble staff. Helping managers. Fairly Priced. Inhouse restaurant is also nice.

I have to give one star , because The walls are molded so it smells bad at bathroom . Also noticed in the elevator. I noticed it was not sanitized and my beds were not replaced after previous guest. I noticed some coffee spill on the bed and then I replaced. Do not Stay here please for the high price you give. In stead you invest little more grand and go to branded hotels. If you dont worry about hygenic and you want to see the chennai hot traffic then you can stay.

The room is good

It seems a safe, quiet place with friendly staff. Breakfast is below average, I did not get what I expected- there was no freezer, no safe box, furniture and tap etc. were not clean.

My room had some kind of a critter (possibly rat) crawling from behind the curtains and making noises and biting my clothes in the closet. The shower was rusted and room had an odor
