A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!

Gate entrance to the hotel was locked. No one to greet on arrival. Staff busy with other activities. Unkempt room. Curtain falling off the hooks. Moldy smelling room. Many stains on the bed and pillow covers. Mediocre breakfast with very few selections. We cut our stay short from two nights to one. Expensive stay for below average room and service. Wont return or recommend.

Ac was not working properly. Bathrooms were not clean. No towels in bathroom. Too expensive for the service. Only positive is the infinite pool facing backwaters view. Please avoid. There are better properties.

not a good experience with the staff there ! we had booked a queen bed room, and they offered us twin bed !! the food was pathetic!!! dinner buffer was disaster !! they call themselves a 5Star property !! It should be rated as 3 star max! NO ALCOHOL served in their restaurant !!! Overall, there are much better options around in that area. Go for some other hotel. Can easily avoid property!!

Great place to relax, swim a little and enjoy decent spa. However, please refrain to use the laundry service of you have clothes requiring special attention (e.g. Dry cleaning only). We used the laundry service to wash our hand-tailored Kurta's, some western dresses, and a T-Shirt. They completely destroyed the Kurtas, shrunk them to the point of no use, AND recoloured all the clothes from White to Green with dark green stains. All because they put all the clothes into the same washing machine with zero regard to our note specifying there were dry-clean pieces in a different laundry bag. Result was only a 50% refund of the value of the brand new clothes "because they understood it was their fault".

The stay was very pleasant, the staff was courteous and the property was very well maintained. We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights, enjoyed the serene nature surrounding the property. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well.

A beautiful hotel with a fantastic swimming pool and great SPA. I had one of the bungalow rooms which looked out over the pool with its own patio and it was perfect. Only marked down on comfort due to the pillows on the bed , I am very fussy but to plump and not enough give but then that is probably just me! Upside or down is that no alcohol is served at this hotel so after a long hot day discovering the beauty of Kerala you might find this a disappointment. Food (I had the evening buffet) was excellent with plenty of choice of local dishes but also catered to more western tastes as well if that is what you prefer. Only real downside was a very unreliable wi-fi (I was here on business , I know lucky me!) which made it very difficult to complete any work. I would also suggest downloading or bringing many books with you as very little locally without taking a taxi, but wow what a lovely place to just relax and chill and breath in the wonderful backwaters air.
