Four Points By Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

New renovation but limited dining.

Had a great stay with my family. Very nice hotel and friendly staff.

The view was great. Mostly wooden floor so it isn't as dusty as those rooms that are fully carpeted. Furnishing and fixtures are relatively new. Toilet had some flies but it's expected due to the climate here. Our shower floor drain was clogged but the technicians cleared it and it was ok. Bring a good umbrella if you are walking to the shops/food establishment outside the resort as the sun can be extremely harsh.

I chose this hotel because it's relatively new. It was indeed new but the room condition is not recommendable due to strong moldy smell and dusts on the floor and shelves. I saw spider net at the corner of the room floor. Staff were friendly and nice but overall service is slow and less organized. Breakfast restaurant was not yet cleaned by the open time and staff were still cleaning the floor at 7am or later. Hope the operation and cleaning stansart will improve.

We enjoyed a Villa and it was fantastic and quiet. Staff are so friendly and service minded.

Food was ok but the appetisers for the western food is not good. We ordered mesclun salad but what we got was a salad with Romaine lettuce, it's supposed to be a mix of different greens, the french onion soup tasted weird, the onions were not soft or caramelized and did not have the cheese on top of the soup. The steak and lamb chops were good. Overall the hotel is nice but need to improve on the western menu. The breakfast buffet was also good.

**Had initially submitted a 3/5 star review for delayed check-in and about the "ocean view" villa not having any view of the ocean. I was quickly contacted by Kaleb from guest relations who assured me that the hotel takes the feedback seriously. They offered various options for service recovery which we gladly accepted.** Overall experience - the hotel is very clean and relatively new, and the amenities are more than sufficient for a short stay. The best part of the experience is the staff - all of them (including those at the two restaurants) were super friendly and always greeted us with smiles and asked if we had any issues and how they could help. Around the area, we had heard before the trip that Plaza Lagoi was a ghost town with vacant shop spaces but it wasn't as bad. There were a couple of restaurants, a Yeah Mart, a Mama-B bakery and a gelato shop, and a massage spa too.

I have one way to describe our stay… “when can we book our next stay” !! From the pre trip check in on our ferry timings to the pick up and drop at the hotel, the welcome and seamless check in. It was A+ customer service all the way. The hotel is new and everything is very well managed. The spa was great- we had the signature and herbal treatment, they also made a last min schedule change as per our request. The hotel has a wonder and huge pool with a restaurant catering to drinks and food pool side with a continental menu. The main restaurant in the hotel serves local cuisines but the very highlight is the breakfast spread. It’s sooo sooo sooo soo good, and very generous. It was my birthday, and the staff had decorated the room so beautifully. We stayed in the ocean terrace king room and wow, not to mention the huge balcony! The view was stunning. This review would not be completed without mentioning Indra who welcomes us and is such a talented mixologist. The smiles on the Sheraton staff faces and the unbelievable hospitality make this an epic epic trip! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

nice property but nothing open around this property except for mini marts.

Es gab ein Upgrade , weil wir länger als 9 Tage da waren. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Pool und das Meer. Der Pool und der Garten waren herrlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Es gab indonesisches und auch europäisches Frühstück. Auch wurden Wünsche berücksichtigt. Das ganze Personal vom Kellner bis zum Gärtner oder auch das houskeeping waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde immer nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung wäre oder ob wir einen anderen Wunsch hätten. Am Pool wurden manchmal kostenlos frische Säfte verteilt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub und würden immer wieder dort Urlaub machen.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. The room was spacious, very clean, and elegantly furnished, offering a stunning view of the beach. The hotel’s amenities, including the spa and restaurants, exceeded our expectations. El Lagoi Beach Club has an exceptional location at the beach and offers excellent food and drinks, more focussed on Western cuisine. Ararinda Lounge offers great bakery items for a snack in between. Rempah Kitchen offers a Breakfast that was a daily highlight, with an array of delicious options to suit everyone’s taste. For lunch and dinner we enjoyed the diverse buffet experience featuring Indonesian cuisine in rotating, regional food stalls. This is a MUST try! The quality of service was outstanding at every place at this hotel. This goes for each and every one of the staff. We would like to give special recognition to Nova, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect while enjoying our meals at Rempah Kitchen. Her warm and welcoming demeanor, combined with her impeccable attention to detail, made the meals even more enjoyable. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. The entire hotel staff We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional stay. We can't wait to return!

Overall experience was satisfying. Especially staff was kind and friendly enough to recommend the interesting activities & restaurant when we were not sure what to take. The entire facility is quite new, so it was really comfortable. But only 2 things I was disappointed is that the bath towel was quite dirty and the pillow had a sweat smell even when we entered the room. Since it’s quite new & overall service was nice, those points stood out… If those would get improved, I’d love to stay there again!

We have nothing but positive to say about our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Lagoi Bay, Bintan. The resort is new and modern and very airy providing a truly relaxing atmosphere the moment we stepped off the shuttle bus from the jetty. Staffs were super attentive and provided beyond 5-star customised service to us ensuring our stay was a truly memorable one. Rooms were spacious with a great ocean view; the balcony was comfy. Overall the cleanliness of the resort was good however there were some teething issues like towels availability, replacement of amenities which could be better finetuned. Understandably this is a relatively new resort so these issues could be revolved and improved once the resort operations gain more experience and a bit more training. Thanks to the entire team’s hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful service from the restaurants. They even offer new items for ua to taste before next month grand opening.

It is a nice brand new hotel with very comfortable rooms surrounded by garden like landscape where you can walk or bike on a paved trail around a lake and the other green parks in this large resort. It would be nice to see some water sports on this calm and clear water lake. Breakfast is great! Lunch and dinner cuisines however should need some improvements. Good job Four Points!
