Albany House

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Room was clean and cozy - bed very comfortable and bathroom nicely equipped. Location central to everything. It was a perfect spot and I’ll happily stay there again.

In terms of value and location, this hotel is wonderful. The staff were lovely. The room and common areas were clean. Noise from outside was not an issue for room 301. My two issues were temperature-related. The bedding is quite heavy and hot. A table top fan is provided but it wasn’t quite enough for me. And then the water never truly got hot, only lukewarm. One morning of my stay, there was no hot water available.

Hotel var gammaldags och vackert. Tyvärr hade vi dålig dusch med lite varm vatten. Rummet var mot gatan med högljud night club. Mycket buller från tvärbanan också. Frukost var gott, effektiv äldre dam som servitris. Personalen var trevligt. Dublin city är liten, då promenerade vi mycket och hotellet hade bra placering. Parken previd var trevligt och St Patriks katedralen i närheten.

Goede locatie op loopafstand, vriendelijk personeel. Het is wat gedateerd en het ontbijt is oké maar niet erg gevarieerd.

Very Lovely staff. Dated accommodations. Stairs, no lift. Continental breakfast (toast, croissants, yogurt, fruits, cheese & ham, hard boiled eggs) quite noisy till 3-4 am with “Dicey’s Gardens” right across the street. Light sleepers may want to pass.

Traté de contactar al hotel antes de mi llegada pero no me contestaron. Fui contactado tan solo un día antes de mi llegada pero me encontraba viajando por lo que no vi el correo a tiempo para responder y cuando llegamos (ya de madrugada) no había nadie en recepción, marqué a la propiedad y como nos encontrábamos dentro escuchamos el teléfono sonar. Decidí contactar a través de Expedia quienes trataron de contactar al hotel pero sin suerte, tuvimos que esperar varios minutos. Ya en comunicación con expedia me preguntan si avise de mi llegada tardía pero la propiedad muestra check in 24 hras por lo que no tenía porque avisar mi horario de llegada. Por otro lado, mi confirmación de reservación tenía desayuno continental incluido y en la recepción nos indicaron que teníamos que pagarlo, que ese error siempre les pasa con Expedia. Después de revisar a través de chat, nos indican que podemos tomarlo pero pagando 1 desayuno por noche para después solicitar el reembolso. Decidimos mejor desayunar en otro lugar. En cuanto a limpieza muy mal, solo tendian las camas. El hotel está bien ubicado pero recomendaría buscar otras opciones.

Nice old property in central Dublin. Easy walking distance. Noisy in the area and no aircon so windows open. Breakfast was good.

La camera piccolissima

Was in a nice area, but not too close to the main areas with lots of noise.

Simple rooms. Lovely hotel staff. The breakfast was great and the staff so friendly we felt very welcomed.

Helpful and accommodating staff. Great location. Clean room and comfortable bed. Loved the high ceilings in our room. Dated furniture and flooring. Some stains on carpet.

Parken nur im Parkhaus in der Nähe möglich aber mit Hotelrabatt. Frühstück sehr gut.Lage sehr zentral.

Lovely breakfasts, and the best toasted soda bread

Beautiful property. Room smallish but nicely decorated. Included a small table, two chairs, a make up tabe and tea/coffee service. The people at the desk were wonderful! They were at the ready with information about where to get food where to catch the bus to the airport. The location is great. It is walking distance to Museums and shopping. There are restaurants on Chatham St, one short block away. The 783 Dublin Express, to and from the airport, is a short walk (5 min). The breakfast is much better than the words "continental breakfast" would imply. On our visit, breakfast included bread, croissants, little danish, various cheeses, ham and coffee (or tea). It is definitely worth the price.
