Hotel Curracloe

Room was clean but bathroom not in good working order. Sink didn’t drain well, toilet didn’t flush well and the shower head wouldn’t stay up. For the price, a breakfast would have been good.

Free parking, Spotlessly clean room, with tea and coffee facilities. Nice and warm on a cold day. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff.

My room was pleasant and very clean and my bed was comfortable. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were placed so high I could barely reach them. The service for dinner both in the restaurant and the pub was apathetic at best from the females. WHY? Both the older and the young man in the pub were efficient and helpful.The ladies at the front desk were marvellous, friendly and helpful,thanks. The location is wonderful, both for Wexford town and all of east Wexford. I do hope I get to stay there again soon.

It was very convenient to get to the ferry at Rosslare. The room was large and comfortable. We would have preferred just a shower rayher than one over a bath.

Check in was fast and staff member was pleasant. Room was a bit dated but clean. After checking into our room we went down to the bar for lunch. I had Roast Beef sandwich and my wife had chicken wings. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. The food was lovely and prices reasonable. We went out of the hotel to a party but returned at 12.30am. The noise along our corridor was incredible, kids running up and down, bedroom doors opening and closing with a bang. We had finally nodded off when we heard voices yelling "JESSICA!!" and banging relentlessly on a door in the hall. It literally went on for 5 minutes until I had enough and left a roar for them to be quiet. It was 2am!!! Things seemed to settle down then. It started all over again at 8am with kids running up and down the hall. It was the worse experience I have ever had at a hotel. We have 3 kids ourselves but there was no sign of any parent telling their kids to be quiet at that hour of a Sunday morning. We ended up getting up ourselves and heading down for breakfast because there was no way we were getting back to sleep. The food was lovely and service was fast. Breakfast was €13.50 a head. We then went to Curracloe beach for a walk, its really lovely and the most redeeming feature of the village. While out walking we decided we couldn't stay the second night and risk a similar experience so we went back to the hotel, packed up and left. There was nobody at reception to complain to as we were leaving.

In die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft. Aber es war alles da. Mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten von Traum Strand entfernt. Sauber, essen war lecker.

Large hotel with good standards of hygiene. Breakfast was good. Restaurant staff in the morning were good. Evening bar staff would benefit from some customer service training.

No hot water at 6 am, seriously?

Bathroom covered in mould, walls, grout and shower head. Dirt and bundle of dirty drain hair beside the bin in bathroom, dried blood on walls, very outdated and crusty everywhere. Bedroom: sand in bed and window cills, make up stains on pillows and blankets. Floor very dirty full of crumbs and hair. Mould in kettle.

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff, convenient car-parking. Ideal for our needs.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable there was access to a balcony style outdoor space with a table and seating. Our meals were excellent with very generous portions served by friendly and attentive staff. We were very impressed during our stay there.

Very enjoyable stay in comfortable surroundings as expected and very pleased.

Staff very friendly Room nice and clean Food was expensive and not great. We had an issue checking out at 6am, no one around, all the doors were locked and no one answering on the number on the door to call. Luckily I have the emergency exit door and let myself out the hotel !!! Very scary experience! I did tell the staff I was leaving at 6am and will not require breakfast. Not sure why she didnt mention how to exit the hotel.

The trip was amazing. The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel, while an older building, was clean and everyhting was in working order. The bed was a little hard but was conformable with very clean linen.

The building was very clean and beautiful. Staff was nice and accommodating. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. The family really enjoyed it, however, the rooms were small and the television only had basic channels, overall it was an okay experience.

We loved the quiet of the place and the pretty outdoor area. Great breakfast as well!

Bird Sanctuary close by, great beach, lots of walking trails.
