Staff were great, clean room, and good food

Amazing experience

The night was so peaceful and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the food was exceptional. The hotel is newly built with spacious rooms. Everything is new and the furnishings are very beautiful. The room decor is very tasteful. This is one of the greatest, affordable hotel accommodation for the town.

Friendly service

Poor internet and TV remote control had no batteries. The staff got very defensive when we reported the clogged drain in the shower. Couldn't provide second key for unknown reason.

The room was adequate, but no more. The staff were polite. I woke up on day 1 with allergic reactions - that's when I noticed the bathroom beginning was covered in mold. I asked to be moved to another room but was told is have to wait until later as there were no rooms available. It seemed odd as the hotel seemed to have about a 10% occupancy. Just the previous day, a colleague had checked in without a reservation with no problem (and for 2/3 the price). Eventually I was able to move to another room without mold. However, this room had no wifi or a functioning TV. It seems the hotel doesn't put enough routers on each floor. Had to lean over the interior balcony outside my room to get a signal. I put the do not disturb light on every day, not this made no difference. Each day someone would come into the room, and remove all the towels and the soap. I suggest hiding them if you don't want to have to ask for them each evening. A very bizarre place. Overpriced, but maybe there's no competition. Restaurant seemed to be one of the few viable places to eat in the city. Again, overpriced. The pizza restaurant opposite was much better value for money.

This property suffers from poor maintenance. Their circulating pump is apparently broken, it takes several minutes of running the hot water for it to become even moderately warm. I only got one truly hot shower out of three. Wifi signals do not reach the rooms that I've stayed in. No hangers or blow drier in the room. No in-room safe, despite what the hotel guide claims. No control over the temperature of the room. However, this isn't a huge issue, because the air is usually very fresh in Nyeri. No screens or bed nets, but I only saw one mosquito the whole time, so maybe mosquitos are not a regular problem here?

The hot water was hit or miss

The rooms were top notch, clean and well maintained, however they didnt have wash cloths but towels clean and good size...food was great, service at the rooms was great. Service at the bar need improvement they took to long to serve us and it wasnt a busy night.

The staff was great and helpful. we enjoyed all extracurricular activities. great stay.

Customer-service oriented staff. Thanks very much! Unfortunately found cockroaches in the kitchen area during breakfast. Can't do much about it I suppose..
