I loved staying at this resort. The staff is very friendly, helpful and just great people. The food is delicious: I recommend the Bacon cheese burger! The site is so peaceful and relaxing, the perfect getaway! On Sundays they play loud music which I wasn't the largest fan of, but it definetly made the resort more of a vibe! I will absolutely be staying there again!

Here is a devastatingly emotional customer review version under 1500 characters: I am heartbroken by what I experienced with this reservation. After traveling two hours to reach the property, I stood waiting nearly 30 minutes with no help at check in. When someone finally arrived, his behavior was deeply unsettling and he appeared to be under the influence. My fear grew worse when I was shown to a hut with a door lock that did not work at all. What truly shook me was being in a secluded area, dressed in a suit and tie as an American traveler in Africa, and then having two other men repeatedly beg me to stay. In that moment, I did not feel like a guest. I felt vulnerable, isolated, and unsafe. There was no internet access, no reliable way to call for help, and even when Hotels.com tried to contact the property, no one answered. I never checked in. I never stayed. I left immediately because I genuinely feared for my safety. What should have been a place of rest turned into a terrifying situation that forced me into another four hour round trip just to get back to safety. After more than a decade of loyalty to Hotels.com, it is heartbreaking to think I could lose money over a place that made me feel endangered. Such a lovely stay! The staff were kind, the place was clean and peaceful, and everything felt warm and welcoming. Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in Liberia. Highly recommend!

The resort is clean and quiet. Staff members are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Great place, good service and very friendly and professional staffs. The only two issues I had with the place is that the road leading there is a bit bad( unpaved) and no fresh water to take showers or brush your teeth with. Got sick and tired of using saltwater for almost everything except drinking.

Great stay

Property was nice but rooms were dated and locks on door difficult to operate. Water slides did not work and no rafts as advertised available for lazy river. Food was okay but extremely over priced. Some drinks as high as $15.

Beautiful natural environment with lovely pools, bamboo, thatch, and wood. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating. Dining speed/efficiency and actual options vs. menu were disappointed. Need better kitchen staff/chef and better trained wait staff more in line with a lodge of this caliber and cost.

Staff and owner are fabulous. We stayed at the mangrove lodge and I will definitely stay there the next time.

Libassa Ecolodge provided a wonderful experience. It is a great retreat from Monrovia. The facilities are excellent with several pools and on a beautiful beach. The food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious as were the fresh juices. Above all, the staff is amazing and very attentive! They made me feel welcome. I can't wait to return
