We recently had the privilege of staying at Villa Park Sun Island Maldives, and it was nothing short of magical. The moment you step onto this island, you're enveloped by its natural beauty - the lush vegetation, the white sandy beaches, and those crystal-clear waters that you've only seen in pictures until now.
The accommodation was phenomenal; we stayed in one of the Villas with a private pool, and it felt like our own little slice of paradise. The design was both elegant and comfortable, blending seamlessly with the environment. The sunset views from the Sunset Water Villas we saw were breathtaking, and we are definitely considering them for our next visit.
Dining here was a culinary journey. From savouring traditional Maldivian dishes at the local restaurants to the exquisite Thai restaurant , every meal felt special. However, we did notice that sometimes the buffet could use a bit more variety to keep the excitement of the palate alive.
The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making our stay genuinely enjoyable. They had this perfect balance of being there when you needed them but also giving you the space to enjoy your solitude.
Overall, Villa Park Sun Island is a dream destination. It's got everything you could want for a Maldivian escape with just a little room for enhancement in the dining experience and island navigation. We are already planning our return!

Guests must transfer via airplane and boat to the property. Guests must contact the property at least 72 hours before travel, using the contact information on the confirmation received after booking. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival at the property. For any questions, please contact the property using the information on the booking confirmation. Guests must arrange transfers (surcharge) from Velana International Airport to the property, which is 20 minutes away via a flight to Mamigili International Airport and then an additional 10 minutes by speedboat to the resort. To guarantee transfers, guests must contact the property with their flight details at least 72 hours before their expected arrival. Daily transfer service is offered by FlyMe. Guests arriving later than 5 PM are advised to book a hotel room in Male or Hulhumale until services resume the following day. Guests must pay the domestic flight fee and the speedboat fee at check-out. The additional fee (payable at the property) covers transfer fees for guests ages 12-17.

Unica pacca forse è che l’isola è su una laguna e il reef non è tra i più ricchi delle maldive ma il voto complessivo è alto

Je suis en retraité qui vient depuis 18 ans aux Maldives et qui passe ma vie à voyager avec mon épouse.
Voici le bilan terrifiant de cet hôtel, dans lequel j’ai passé huit nuits.
85 % des clients sont russes
- Les bâtiments et les chambres sont sales, anciennes et mal entretenues.
- Il n’y a pas de connexion Internet ni au restaurant, ni aux abords de la piscine ni devant votre chambre.
- Il y a une mosquée sur l’île
- Le personnel est désagréable, ne dit jamais bonjour, et traite mal les clients, tout particulièrement la clientèle féminine.
- Les problèmes dans les chambres ne sont jamais traités. Évier bouché etc.
- Il y a des tracteurs et des véhicules agricoles ainsi que des chantiers sur les accès aux chambres.
- La direction se moque des clients, ils vous mentent sans vergogne. Par exemple, j’ai dû menacer de partir pour avoir des avantages auxquels j’avais droit notamment avec l’accès. VIP. En premier lieu, ils voulaient nous donner une chambre insalubre.
- Je partais sur une autre île, faisant partie de leur chaîne d’hôtel et ils voulaient me faire lever à 4h00 du matin alors qu’il y avait un vol à 10h30. J’ai dû me battre pour modifier l’heure de départ alors que j’avais réservé depuis sept mois et prévenu les hôtels de part et d’autre.
-Le personnel du restaurant est arrogant. Un jour ils nous ont même pris la clé sur la table et l’ont débarrassée. Il a fallu rechercher la clé à réception.
-La plongée sous-marine est facturée à 100 $ de l’heure qui dure 45 mn

La struttura, giardini, personale, mare e spiaggia al TOP! Cose negative: non c’è nessuna attività per bambini 6–12, escursioni care e mi sarebbe piaciuto poter visitare altre isole anche deserte. Rubinetto del bagno da sostituire. Per il resto è il paradiso terrestre.

Camera (lagoon beach pool villa) molto bella, pulita, bagno spelidido con doccia interna ma anche con la doccia maldiviana, ovviamente accesso diretto sulla spiaggia;
Buffet molto buono e vario (anche con qualcosa di italiano).
Personale sempre molto gentile.
Unica piccola stonatura di una vacanza perfetta: il pranzo non incluso avendo il transfer alle 14 e dovendo liberare la camera alle 12. (E il costo per includerlo, 54$/persona, davvero un non sense per un pranzo prima del viaggio).

Excepcional o serviço prestado pelo Resort, especialmente por conta de funcionários esforçados que buscam a resolução de problemas surgidos de modo imediata. The room needed to be updated but was very clean and efficient. The island is terrific with more great beaches than most islands. The Manta Rays swimming around the Italian restaurant was fantastic. We were pleased with the food and drinks on the All-inclusive Plan. The resort lived up to all our expectations and more. The snorkelling here was not up to our previous Maldives resorts but the beaches were better. The staff was also terrific, every single one.

soggiorno nel complesso molto piacevole ottima pulizia della camere e in generale del resort, personale gentile ,presente e discreto,.molto piacevoli spaziose e complete le camere rinnovate di recente. Isola molto grande con tantissime attività e ricchissima di vegetazione con ampi spazi verdi meravigliosi..laguna molto estesa. cose da migliorare consiglierei, vista la presenza molto numerosa di famiglie con bambini piccoli, di suddividere le camere in zone dedicate agli ospiti con bambini e altre per gli ospiti senza bambini in modo che chi è senza bambini possa godere diella desiderata tranquillità durante la vacanza. Stesso consiglio darei per i tavoli del ristorante principale assegnando tavoli fissi per tutta la vacanza creando una zona per famiglie con bambini e una per le coppie o faglie con figli gia grandi. Consiglierei inoltre un servizio continuativo di pulizia del bordo mare dai rifiuti portati dalle maree sulla spiaggia. Il cibo al ristorante principale è molto vario e sono ottimi i dolci ma consiglierei di migliorare e rendere piu varia la scelta di cucina europea. notevole invece l attenzione per i piatti vegetariani e senza uova che sono chiaramente indicati su ogni cartellino dei vari cibi.

Villa park - sun island was a lovely resort!
The staff really made it perfect. Mannan the buggy driver was excellent. Showed us around the whole island, recommended things to see and do! Went above and beyond. My husband developed a headache and Mannan went out of his way to bring us paracetamol to our room, perfect service!
Rakesh the chef in the southern star restaurant was lovely. Always happy to help and make something fresh, breakfast lunch and dinner - perfect food, conversation and service every time!
All the staff we encountered were happy and friendly.
Only thing I would mention - is the island has a lot to offer! If you don’t hear from your host - make sure you request the daily itinerary.

För det första, så träffade vi själva ägaren Qasim som byggde ön . En fantastiskt , jordnära människa som sedan avspeglas på själva personalen som anstränger sig ytterst mycket, att vi turister ska ha allt vi behöver!
Stort tack speciellt till Pratima som var varan kontakt person , Musa för den fina rum städdning , Saurav och Joynal i restaurangen !
