Ambassador Hotel

Breakfast was excellent. Finally something of substance other the eating croissants for 2 weeks in Sicily. LOL. Hotel has beautiful view. Bit far away from the action but it depends what you want. Action or relax. Little bit of Renovation and refresh would not hurt. Staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. I'd rate it good average hotel. G;

Great location, great staff and service.

The property is of medium quality, with issues with both waterpressure and aircon temperature (this was not the same in different rooms). There is no fridge in the room, but this can be rented from the hotel for €3.50 pr night, wich i thought was quite excessive, specially thinking the level/quality of the hotel and how this usually is included in rooms. The hotel rooms are not very well insulated and you can hear people talking in the next room or in the hallway, almost lile they are in the room with you. it is also a very small hotel with just over 40 rooms, and the breakfast selection is very limited. The hotel is quite a distance from the city og St.Pauls Bay, even though it is easy to take the local busses, there is both unregularities in time according to schedule and limited busses that actually go in to town. The traffic can also be horrendous at certain times. There are some local restaurants in the area, but not a huge selection. HOWEVER!! All this considering, every single one of the hotel staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome, was happy and comfortable, and showed a genuine interest. There was never a no from anyone, they just fixed issues quickly and efficiently. The cleaning staff did a super job every single day, gave fresh towels every day, and i often came back to find beautiful towel-figurines on the beds.

I highly recommend staying at Ambassador Hotel when in St. Paul's Bay, Malta. Have in mind that this is a 3-star hotel, but it's absolutely worth it as it's the best a 3-star can get. The cleanliness of the room was a big plus. Internet is free and decent. There is a bus stop near the hotel called "Xemxija", which easily takes you to either Popeye Village, or to the senter of St. Paul's Bay and more. The hotel offers guests free and unlimited water bottle refills by the water dispenser in the reception, and the water is ice cold. Also the staff are super helpful and polite. My experience was very positive!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, dass die Einrichtung alt ist, wussten wir vorher, das Frühstück war super für ein 3 Sterne Hotel. Baden im Meer ist in der Bucht gegenüber möglich. Die Straße stört nicht, es war sehr ruhig. Nur die Parkplatzsituation ist am Wochenende nervig.

Personal poco amable, en el desayuno no te calientan ni la leche en el micro, sin disponibilidad para intolerancial, instalaciones viejas, desayuno buffet insuficiente y básico

Impossible de les contacter cars les informations fournies sur Expedia sont mauvaises. Ils ne s'intéressent pas au clients et les chambres sont sales et les entourages de l'hôtel aussi (débris et autres déchets)

La salle est trop petite et non fonctionnelle. La porte donnant sue terrasse ne ferme pas à clef. Manque un peu de variété au petit déjeuner. Bon accueil la réception.

Udmærket hotel, morgenmaden er lidt kedelig.

Direct aan het water. In de buurt van twee bushaltes. Vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijke airco. Boven een Duikcentrum. Op een rustige locatie. Happy hour voor cocktails. Heerlijke bedden.

Hotel da evitare, camera economy era come un magazzino senza comodini, rumorosa in quanto da sulle scale che vanno alla sala colazione. L'unica cosa positiva è il personale sempre gentile.

Nice stay

Preis Leistung ist echt ok. Nur war das Personal extrem laut. Rezeption hat Nachts extrem laut TV geguckt und morgens sobald der Betrieb los ging war es auch unerträglich. Schon gg 6 war an schlaf nicht mehr zu denken. Laute Gespräche vom Personal und Türknallen uvm….

Heel aangenaam verblijf met vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Hotel qui a fait son temp je suppose. Pas trop de pression dans la douche.

super friendly customer service. Quiet swimming cove, beautiful cliffs. Right on bus line. Yummy breakfast buffet & good air conditioner in rooms. Balcony to dry clothes & read book while enjoying view.

We stayed here for a last minute holiday to Malta and the staff here are really nice and helpful. Tourist information was provided on arrival and some local knowledge was thrown in too. AC in the room; shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer were provided, beautiful pool (open to the public) and restaurant downstairs with a good, consistent breakfast, good happy hour deals and amazing (!) pizza. Well located to get to St Paul's Bay, Valetta, Mdina and Gozo by bus. Let us leave our luggage and use the pool after checkout at 11am. Thoroughly impressed, have recommended The Ambassador to family and friends.

Service très agréable mais la chambre avait des cafard nous avons dû appeler deux fois l’accueil pour nous faire enlever les cafard , le sol était sale et il y avait de la moisissure sur le plafond de la salle de bain.
