Melior Boutique Hotel

Great location and very quiet inside considering the noise outside. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.

Access via Starbucks was unusual but not an issue. Good location.

I booked 4 nights through Expedia. They were supposed to send a confirmation with codes to access the premises. I never received the email. I tried to cancel 1 day before check in. I called the hotel. No answer. I stopped by in person to cancel personally. No person at the front desk. The front desk and entrance is located in a Starbucks. I emailed Expedia to cancel. Nothing. I called Expedia and the rep. tried to call the hotel. She couldn't get thru either. I booked for 4 nights. They charged me for the entire stay because I attempted to cancelled within the 2 day cancellation window. They wouldn't even prorate. I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on the poor experience, inability to reach a person and unwillingness of the hotel to accommodate.

It is a very nice hotel in a very convenient location. Overall is excellent except an false alam woke everyone up at 4am one morning.

Great central location even if it’s slight off to get to the hotel through a Starbucks! 5 min walk from Barrakka loft which took us to Gozo ferry so ideal.

The staff are very courteous, polite and very willing to provide any type of help and information. Bag storage available and free too. The room will be turned over every day, unless you indicate otherwise. Not a great deal of draw space and the kettle tended to dribble but that's it. Fully recommend the location within Valletta, so handy for everything!

Excellent central location to main city and bus transport. Considering its on a busy street we could not hear any noise from our room on 7th floor. Room was well air conditioned - adequately clean serviced each day - suitable fridge - large safe- clean towels daily if you wanted - noone on check in desk however staff available to help if needed. A pleasant stay in a busy city.

Het ontbijtsysteem werkte niet goed. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam hierbij. Echter met oplossing om papieren uit te delen werden deze papieren niet opgehaald en helaas een keer ontbijt moeten missen. Maar het personeel was top!

It was difficult to find initially and we were followed into the lift by pickpockets which would be avoided if there was a reception. However, the staff did help in reporting this. The location was so central with excellent access to the centre of Valletta. The room was comfortable and well apportitioned with fridge, microwave and kitchen all clean and fully operational, even had an ice tray. Sofas and bed were super comfy and the AC was great. Highlight was sitting in the balcony watching the hustle of the city go by late at night.

Nice hotel. Clean. Desk isn’t manned most of the time so be prepared to phone or WhatsApp for someone. Quite difficult to find, you need to go into Starbucks to find it. Good size and space. All key codes rather than key cards which was nice, no risk of losing the card. My room had a small window with no view, so didn’t provide a lot of natural light. Overall would stay again, nice hotel and good location

Very good value

The location is amazing - one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. We rarely interacted with any of the staff, as there is no front desk/lobby as the ground floor is Starbucks. If you need anything, (luggage storage, questions answered, etc), you need to ask a Starbucks' employee for help.

Excellent location through unusual Starbucks entrance, which also doubled as a bar. Could not have been a better stay.

Great location, right in the heart of Valletta. Excellent service; the staff who dealt with us went above and beyond. We had the breakfast from Starbucks, which was both fresh and good value for money. Really have nothing but good things to say about this hotel - a lucky find.

Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet, 2 Kritikpunkte: Duschvorhang nicht sehr sinnvoll, das Wasser verteilt sich im Ganzen Bad, eine Wand wäre besser. Nur 1 Fenster im ganzen Zimmer und das nur zu einem Innenhof, keine Frischluftzufuhr

This is not a hotel. It is a joke of a hotel. The reception doesn’t exist. They out a billboard for you to call a number. I waited for more than one hour before anyone picked and came to help to enter the room. They say the haveTV but they do not have TV channels. You call the number they provided to ask for help on how to get any channel and they ignore you. After 10 attempts of calls they answer and they say they will check it but they ignore you and do not even bother to respond back saying anything. There was a huge sewage smell in the toilet at night and you called the phone number and nobody answered so I was forced to be in the room with smell. The air conditioning doesn’t work in the room. It is centralised so some rooms are too hot others are too cold. You may suffer during the night but they do not care. They should care a bit about the guests. At least apologizing for misleading clients saying it is a hotel, it has a reception, it has tv channels … just tell the truth upfront.
