The old Mill

I had an excellent stay at The Old Mill. The building is amazing and very characterful. It’s immaculately clean. The owners are so kind and friendly. I enjoyed the comfort and the peaceful nature of the property. Breakfast was amazing both in size and in quality. Great transport links to all of Gozo. I had a memorable time and would love to stay again in the future and fully recommend to other guests.

My stay was wonderfull! The owner Joachim is super sweet and the morning breakfast is super filling! Great location too! Lots of beautiful beaches

Juste incroyablement parfait!!! Le vieux moulin est magnifique, la piscine est petite mais il n'y a pas plus de 3 occupants a la fois et que des personnes discretes et respectueuses. L'hote Joachim a été tres gentil (il a meme fait un petit cadeau a ma fille qui fetait ses 7ans en surprise au petit dejeuner), nous a chouchouté au petit dejeuner tous les jours... Ce quartier de Gozo est calme et rural. Assez bien desservi par les bus une fois qu'on a compris le fonctionnement, la ville la plus proche est a 20min a pied avec des trottoirs minuscules et des montées a perdre le souffle.. Mais c'est le prix a payer pour la tranquillité, les paysages fabuleux hors du temps, et des plages aux eaux tranlucides et tiedes. Ramla au sable ocre est une des plus belles plages de l'ile, accessible a 30min a pied ou en bus. Je recommande cet établissement 1000 fois

The hosts are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The property is charming and full of character. Its very easy to venture out to other locations either on foot or by bus. The breakfast was very nice and suited to individual preferences. I am so glad i chose to stay at the old mill as it made my time in Gozo extra special.I would certainly stay there again and recommended to anyone thinking of booking to do so. The in room guide to the island is very useful especially for first time visitors to the island a very nice idea. I had the smaller room but it was plenty big enough for me and the fridge and coffee machine was very handy. Very nice views ftom the terrace as well.

5 nights here,verry clean,nice family,good breakfast❤️!they help you with all kind of informations and also to take you were you need .The structure is in front a bus station that you can use to move all around

Restés 3 nuits sur place. Accueil parfait. Propositions et conseils pour les sorties, un thé après la baignade....et toujours de façon toute simple et gentille. L'accueil de ce couple qui tient cet établissement est parfait.

We had a lovely 6 days at the Old Mill, the hosts were kind and friendly, full of useful local knowledge. We did hire a car which afforded us some freedom, it is a little isolated, but there is a bus stop opposite and Bolt operates. My daughter and I were lucky to have the room with a large balcony over looking farm land and to the sea. We sat there at night too, listening to the silence, or fireworks or star gazing. Air conditioning was efficient and very welcome. Breakfast was what ever we wanted, fresh and lovely. The pool is small but refreshing and we only saw the other guests in passing. We hired a small boat and our host Joachim skippered it around some of Gozo, the Blue lagoon and other swimming snorkelling sights. Despite the bumpy ride the sea was incredible and what a fabulous opportunity for us to see and swim in areas that we would not have known about or perhaps been confident enough to drive to. Gozo is a community of working locals so dont expect this to be a resort with the Duke of York or Gary Liniker bar. There is a resort, Malafonsa with most of what you would expect, but smaller, 15 mins walk or 5 mins drive away. Fab restaurant at the very end on the left, just before the coast turns the corner. Victoria is a 10 min drive with supermarket, restaurants and the Citadel. Ramla beach is sandy but less rocks into the sea on the right; with cafe, icecream van, beach stuff, parking, beds, umbrellas..... GGantiga is worth an hour or so.

We stayed 11 days in a room with terrace. The couple running this B&B were wonderful hosts, very friendly and available to us whenever we needed anything. They offered us, amongst other things, towels, umbrellas and mattresses for the beach and supplied us with bottled water every day. Breakfast was always served according to our wishes with local products and at times that fitted our schedule. We recommend renting a car to get around as there are few restaurants in the closest proximity and many beaches to explore. There are lots of free parking space in the street. The Marsalforn city and beautiful limestone beach (photo) is well within reach by car or bicycle if preferred. There are also a more private beach close by. Accessed by trail. E-bikes can be rented at the B&B. We appreciated very much the good advice given by our english-speaking hosts on restaurans, where to go and what to do. They also had maps ready to supply us with guidance. No need for a tourist information accordingly. Rooms were nice and tidy and supplied with air condition and refrigerator. J & B made our vacation so good and we'd love to come back.

The owners are fantastic hosts, very friendly, they prepare a nice breakfast, they share a lot of information and tips to do on Gozo. We had a great stay. Since Gozo is rather small, most sites can be reached by car within 20-max. 30 minutes. Big plus that the room, which was nice and cozy, has an airco.

Do not book this property as it is falsely advertise. There is no paddle boarding, no onsite shopping, no big swimming pool as advertised, no on site bar, not close to the beach. You are staying in someone’s house we got falsely dragged into something that is not what it is, they will not give us a refund complete and utter shambles worst experience of a holiday we ever had. DO NOT BOOK!!!!

My girlfriend and I spent seven wonderful days here, hosted by an amazing German couple. They were incredibly helpful with everything, from giving us tips on cool hikes and restaurants to preparing delicious breakfasts every morning and they really made sure that we had everything we needed all day. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back someday! Thank you for making our trip to Gozo memorable!
