Urgoo Boutique Hotel

Erg fijn hotel, ligt net aan een auto vrije zone. Leuke restaurantjes aan de auto vrije zone. Ontbijt kaartje niet vergeten in te vullen elke dag. Erg harde bedden en zijn ook laag. Denk dat aan de lage kant voor heel Mongolië gaat gelden. Vriendelijk personeel. Sommige kunnen goed Engels en andere niet, translate is zeker een uitkomst. Douche is ook erg fijn. Wil je kamer nieuwe handboeken of opgemaakt bed, kaartje aan de deur hangen.

Excellent boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room was large and comfortable. Good amenities, very nice bathroom. Restaurant on site was very good. Only steps from major attractions. Quiet street. Cannot wait to return

Very nice hotel in a central location. I think we had a delux room which had a large lounge and then separate bedroom. We also had abalcony which would have come in handy if it hadn’t been snowing. The room was very comfortable. The only downside - maybe because it was so large - was that the room was quite cold despite the radiators being on full. However, we were given a fan heater by the reception staff which solved the problem. Special mention all needs to be given to the guy on reception who walked us all the way to the station. The centre of UB had been closed to cars the day we were leaving and so we couldn’t get a taxi from the hotel.

1. hotels.com charged me immediately even though it says free cancellation until the day before check-in 2. hotel wants to charge me again upon arrival. they checked but then wanted to charge me the following day, again and again. I have to explain every time. they asked me to sign something which turned out to be the payment they finally received from hotels.com. very confusing 3. no cleaning throughout my five day stay; dust bin emptied only once, they left a bottle of water in the room some day, but some day no. they also don't make your bed. I don't know why they come into the room if they don't do anything 4. blood stain on bed sheet and towels; hair dryer broken, TV only works on one night 5. bath tub almost blocked. took ages to drain the water. tap water is not clean. a coat of dust left in the tub after shower. 6. air-con system not switched on despite 30c. I complained, they just kept saying ok ok, but the air-con never works 7. very noisy when you open the window for some fresh air. people gathering downstairs every night singing, chatting, laughing even after midnight 8. airport transfer costs USD25 which is more than double the price of a taxi 9. the only thing good about this hotel is the location, just a few steps away from the main square, good restaurants along the street. breakfast has a few choices, continental, english, cereal etc
