This hotel is a shadow of its former self which is now used to house asylum seekers; this would have been useful information to have prior to making the booking. I've given an overall score of 3 stars because the staff were so friendly.

We waren aangenaam verrast door het 'totaalplaatje'. Gebouw met bijzondere uitstraling én geschiedenis. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Handgeschreven welkom in de -prima- familiekamer. Enige minpunt was het uitzicht vanuit die kamer (maar ja; welk gebouw was er eerder.....). En toch ook wel de ligging van het hotel aan een verkeersplein.
Huidige eigenaar heeft het herstel van het gebouw met respect voor die geschiedenis uitgevoerd. En de toepassing van 'Nederlands fabricaat' daarbij is een zeer geslaagd idee.

Restaurants and shopping were quite walkable. The hotel could use a little bit of tlc, but overall clean and the room was very nice and had a really lovely view. There were no drawers to put anything away, but some hangers to hang stuff.

Locatie is prima, maar de staat van het gebouw, kamers simpel maar oké . Ontbijt zoek maar een plekje in de winkel in de ontvangstruimte . Zeker voor €230 belachelijk duur.
