Holiday Inn Express AMSTERDAM - SLOTERDIJK STATION by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Overall we enjoy our stay here. Room is big with free breakfast. They allowed us to check out late and have free welcome drinks. I would stay again if have chance to visit Amsterdam again in the future.

I frequent Holiday Inn when i travel. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel location is perfect. Right next to the train station and tram lines. Food around the hotel is a little bit limited but you can walk or take the train to any where. Only thing I did not like was the people standing near the revolving door entrance of floor 0 it made us feel unsafe. Besides that the experience was great, I would definitely come back.

空港からセントラル駅に行く際に、セントラル駅の１つ手前の駅の真横にあるホテル。 改札を出てからホテルまではほぼ隣接という感じ。その間に21時まで営業しているスーパーもあり、そこでパン、サラダ、アルコール類も買える。 部屋には冷蔵庫がない。アメニティも最低限。寝るだけなら不便さはない。 朝食は、7-8,8-9,9-10時の3部制。どの時間帯に行っても混雑するので、便宜上振り分けているがどの時間帯に行ってもいいが、かなり混雑している。卵やハムはあるがソーセージ類はない。

Overall property was good, but our first day checkin experience was not. The girl was very rude. When I asked some questions about room amenities, she replied what do you expect it’s Holiday Express not some 5 star and said , what you pay you get. Management need to take this kind of attitude and behaviour with customers seriously.

Great Stay – Convenient Location and Comfortable Room I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located close to the train station, which made getting around really easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment after a long day. The breakfast was tasty and enjoyable, with a good variety. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay again.

Overall, the stay was adequate but it was not great and had several frustrating experiences. When we arrived our first night after a long day of travel, they did not have the correct room type we had reserved available. We had to stay in a different room our first night and then pack up again, store our luggage and then check into a new room the next night for the rest of our stay. When we got into that second room the beds were terrible (could feel every spring) and the room was incredibly hot (thermostat read 43 celsius!). So we had to change rooms yet again. The third room was adequate but was missing the security latch on the door lock which made me a bir uncomfortable. We did get our beds made and new towels every day. They emptied the trash but very obviously never vacuumed or dusted and the room didn't feel all the way clean. For all our frustration, we were initially just offered a voucher for a free drink. Not only do we not drink, but that felt like very inadequate compensation for having to change rooms multiple times and not have the cleanliness we usually expect from a Holiday Inn Express. They did refund half of the Amsterdam city tax (approx 22 euros) but again, feels like very inadequate compensation. The location next to the train station was convenient and the best perk of the place. But it did make for a noisy location. Overall, I would not recommend this place and it does not meausure up to what I expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

We stayed for 6 nights. We were offered a drink each for each day that we did not use housekeeping service. Extra towels were available to us. So we had housekeeping 1/2 thru our stay as a contribution to the environment. It was a cool rainy week and our room thermostat was not working. The hotel provided a heater. Two very comfortable twin beds put together, one soft and one firmer mattress. Cozy comforters and pillows. Free delicious breakfast with lots of options. Close proximity to the train, metro, tram and bus station makes getting around so easy.

Durch die naheliegende Straßenbahn ist die Anbindung zum Zentrum von Amsterdam sehr gut. Nachteilig hierbei ist jedoch, dass nachts die Straßenbahnen zu hören sind. Zusätzlich empfand ich das Frühstück als mittelmäßig und die Betten und Kissen als optimierungsbedürftig.

We had a 15 hour layover and needed a quiet, comfy place to crash between flights. Marriott near the airport was perfect.

Muy buena ubicación, cerca del centro de la ciudad, pero lejos del bullicio. Muy buenas y cómodas instalaciones.

While the bed, bathroom, and linens were clean., The carpet had stain throughout. Very disconcerting. Breakfast was plentiful and good variety. That was the best thing about the hotel. Staff gave averaged to poor customer service. One particular staffer was quite unpleasant and did not assist at all When asked about getting around in Amsterdam. The surrounding area was quite unpleasant with lots of homeless people hanging around the building. The fact that Metro and tram was immediately accessible right by the hotel was an excellent feature.

Excelente estadia, a estação ( metrô, trem e ônibus) ao lado, 6 minutos de trem para a estação central, mercadinho funcionava até as 24h.Café da manhã excelente e quarto grande e confortável.

The hotel is very conveniently situated for public transport. As it was very hot we kept the window open & the trains coukd be heard from early mornng to late at night. Hotel was clean & comfortable with a good breakfast selection. Liked the idea that to save the room being cleaned daily you can opt for a free drink at the bar. Found the outside & general outdoor areas dirty - not the fault of the hotel.

Hotel de excelente qualidade. Não fica próximo aos pontos turísticos, mas é só lado de uma estação, o que facilita o acesso.

Hotel excelente, com boa infraestrutura. No café da manhã tinha muitas opções. A limpeza estava impecável. No entanto o hotel fica distante dos principais pontos turísticos, necessitando ir de aplicativo ou metro ate o ponto central.

Hotel muito bom. Fica fora da zona turística, por isso o preço vale a pena pelo conforto. Café da manhã excelente. Estação de trem do lado do hotel, em 5 minutos você chega na Amsterdam Centraal. Tem também estação do Tram linha 19 do lado.
