Villa Monte Dana Amsterdam

Check in/out process was a pain, especially if you were arriving after 9pm. A cash deposit was taken upon check in but no receipt was given. No confirmation of booking/card details were checked. Next day, returned to hotel to find a note saying we had not paid although this was done via Expedia and they took and hid our luggage.

This place should be remove from this site. It’s not a hotel it’s an old, musty, unclean room. It’s extremely far from Central Amsterdam and expensive to go to the city, and there’s nothing around to do or a decent place to eat. It’s a 15-20 minutes walk from the train to the hotel and to check in is another mile away with a $50 euro CASH deposit. Avoid this place at all cost! No room service, the carpet smell, horrible, room is stuffy, no working phone, WiFi is terrible, TV one working channel. Beside the neighbor felt safe, bathroom and balcony nothing about this place is worth your time or money. Take your money somewhere else.

La zona dell'hotel è abbastanza silenziosa, se non fosse per gli aerei che vanno e vengono, ma ci sta essendo nei pressi dell'aeroporto. Il soggiorno nel complesso è stato gradevole, anche se non sono venuti a pulire la camera nemmeno una volta (però gli asciugamani li cambiavano e la carta igienica veniva sempre rifornita, quindi non capisco cosa ci volesse a rifare almeno i letti, essendoci nella struttura solo tre stanze). Ottimi il Lidl a pochi passi, che permette di comprare il necessario per i panini e la colazione e le due fermate del pullman abbastanza vicino all'albergo. La consiglio per chi ha bisogno di un appoggio per visitare Amsterdam e dintorni. Voto complessivo: 4/5

The different location for the reception and the hotel itself was unnecessary annoyance… besides that no complaints

Personeel niet vriendelijk, bed was kapot en toilet pot werkte niet goed.

Quando abbiamo prenotato, c'era inclusa l'aria condizionata, invece era a pagamento 10 € al giorno, per poterla far attivare essendo una struttura senza reception, abbiamo dovuto telefonare a Hotel.com che si sono messi in contatto ed alla fine della giornata in più caldissima, abbiamo dovuto pagare e alla fine è venuto in tecnico ad attivarla. Comunque essendo stato un errore di Hotel.com nella descrizione della camera, sembra che rimborsano il dovuto. Altra cosa, non si sa mai quando vengano a pulire le stanze, di solito nel tardo pomeriggio, che secondo me è sbagliato, perché in quell'ora di solito si torna. Poi per il resto la camera è molto completa bollitore, frigo e balcone Tv.(canali. Italiani No!) La zona è molto bella c'è tutto quello che ti può servire, dai supermercati alla farmacia ed un bellissimo parco con fattoria. Vicino ad Amsterdam circa 12 km. Si può lasciare l'auto e prendere il Bus tranquillamente. Lo consiglio.

Bad hotel, they did not come to clean the room once!

욕조 등 청소나 관리가 좀 부족한 느낌. 그래도 욕조가 있어서 좋았음. 테라스도 있고 침대도 푹신함. 시설이 상당히 안락한 편. 주위에 알버트 하인이 있어서 식료품 사기도 적합. 대신 암스테르담 왕복하면서 교통비가 꽤 나감(왕복 6.8유로 정도).

Listing says laundry on site, its actually at another hotel they own. Love the neighborhood, airplanes fly close overhead. Would stay again.

There was poo and sperm on the walls, the rooms were cold - no heating. This isn’t a clean safe place to stay

I could go on for hours about how amazing this place is. Honest the location is amazing, not too long of a walk from the train, the bakery down the streets fresh Orange juice and fruit are to die for and dont me started on the Chinese restaurant across the street and down a block. 😭😍 there is a park with a petting zoo tucked away behind the lidel grocery store as well. Beds were nice, room was clean, and the balcony was too cute. The only thing was the airplanes landing all night, nothing a set of ear plugs couldn't fix tho!

This hotel was sooooo nice. I would definitely stay again. Just take my advice and take the train into Amsterdam (it's only two stops and 3 bucks) compared to a $60 uber/cab. Loved the tub, the decor, the room size, the bed. Very nice for a romantic evening.

Wir waren nicht sonderlich zufrieden. Die Badewannen, die man auf den Fotos sieht, gibt es nicht. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, das keinerlei Vorteile zu einem Standard Zimmer hatte. Die Komfortbadewanne war auch eher eine normale Wanne. Die Fensterbank war staubig, das Bett am Kopfteil abgenutzt und am Waschbecken Wasserflecken. Die Rezeption war dauerhaft den ganzen Tag geschlossen. Der Schreibtisch hatte ebenfalls Macken und es gab einen Brandfleck auf dem Teppich. Der Stadtteil war aber sehr schön mit einem super Bäcker und Supermarkt in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Der Bahnhof war allerdings ca 20 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

Great place to crash when exploring the city of Amsterdam. The location is quiet and therefore has little to offer around the hotel but it’s an easy 25 min train ride to central Amsterdam where all the shops, restaurants and activities are! Really appreciated having a quiet, clean room to go to after long days of walking. Check in was easy and attentive to our needs with great service :)

Porque no había quien recibiera, no habla otro idioma, ni había cafetera, la cama se hizo pero no se sacudió, un poco decepcionante, pero la habitación muy cómoda y calentita

Doesn't look anything like the photos at all! In a run down part of town and everything in general was just strange and odd about it... Water in tub didn't work either

Ubicación: Quedaba muy lejos de todo. No es un hotel es un casa donde te dejan las llaves. Nadie te recibe, no vez a ninguna persona. La limpieza todo impecable, la pieza es grande, el baño súper bueno. La pieza tiene una súper terraza. Wifi funcionaba excelente. Además tenían un hervidor en el dormitorio con té y café. Y un mini refrigerador.
